Heupel given ultimatum? (Troll site)

Keep it up vocal minority, I say we start a petition to fire Josh and bring in Kiffin; as a fanbase we like doing dumb stuff like that. Not saying that it would ever happen but with all of these openings if Josh skipped town to go somewhere else the same ones doing this BS would be burning mattresses and screaming “how could he?!!!!”
I’d rather be an Alabama fan than bring Kiffin back.

The story is still floating around, I saw it on AOL.com. It's based off a tweet by someone called Richard G West and named Kiffin as the target to replace Josh. LOL
Evidently you don't know anything about Richard G West

"Dick" G West is a parody account and talks nothing but sh*t for clicks

Anybody else see this? Apparently there are reports that Heupel has been given a 30 day ultimatum to turn the season around and that there is discussion about a buyout. It’s hard for me to believe that Danny White would give Josh Heupel an ultimatum unless there is pressure from boosters as the article mentions. Do you guys think there is any validity to this or just more clickbait?

Not if we have any brains ! Stupid! Let's get rid of Boo instead. Joey Peterson says he should be cut from the team!

Exactly. This offseason will be a big one for Josh. We’re going to find out if he can recognize obvious staff issues. If he can, great. If he can’t, well the discussion is going to get hotter.
I tend to agree, but at the moment I don’t think his seat is even remotely warm, and it shouldn’t be IMO. Josh is a very good coach, but he has only been a head coach for a short time, it’s my opinion that he will only get better. He has brought the program a long way, it would be a shame not to give him more time.

This garbage thread needs to be deleted.
It’s time for me to step away from this message board. 5% or less cause the most noise because people continue to post their 💩 or discuss on social media.

95% of Volnstion supports Heup and agrees he’s the man for the job rt now. Period! His teams have overachieved since he’s been here. I am disappointed with the loss to Oklahoma and the way we lost. But I know he’s working on finishing the yr and making the program better. Recruits see it, too!

I didn’t start this thread to insinuate that I think Josh Heupel should be fired. That is the opposite of the reason I posted it. I have been critical of Heupel for many of the reasons that others have, but have not called for him to be fired. I just happened to come across this article that I hadn’t seen discussed anywhere. I figured it was clickbait, but thought I would post it on here to get others’ opinions. I was hoping for everyone to say it was false, but I didn’t realize the can of worms I was opening. I wasn’t trying to be a troll. I love this team and want to see it get back to the pinnacle of the sport.

Not much heat on his position at the moment, no. But if we lose to Florida and/or Vandy then the heat to make changes will ratchet up.

His seat isn't hot or warm right now. But if we lose to Florida and/or Vandy, I see White calling Heupel into the office Monday morning after the Vandy game for a conversation. I can see White telling Heupel that his job is safe, but he will have to make some drastic changes to his coaching staff. I think Heupel will still be here after this season, but expect old faces gone and new ones on the coaching staff next season.

To the VolNation community,
In a lapse in judgement, I posted a link to an article that has been blasted on here as being a troll article. I had no ill intent in posting this article which was apparently taken down from their website shortly after I posted it. I simply wanted to get the opinion from other members of this board regarding the article. I figured it was clickbait and everyone on here has confirmed that. I didn’t realize that I would be opening such a big can of worms. I own my mistake and ask for forgiveness. Go VOLS!

Thanks
SHAME SHAME SHAME!!!!

I’ve seen a lot of VN posters who seem to have the same belief as the Moran that wrote that bunk

Yes, I agree. I think his job is safe for the foreseeable future, but he will be expected to make what will be seen as necessary changes for the future of the program.

I do honestly think that the Vols, at least for now, are much better off with him than without. I sincerely expect he will continue to lead you guys in the right direction.
