despite what the Moron Governor said. Wonder who the private donor is that will fund a substantial amount of the total?

In a conversation with WDSU, LSU Board of Supervisors Scott Ballard clarified that Kelly's buyout would be entirely financed by self-generated athletics funds and private donors, ensuring no impact on state education funds.

The Guvnah knew the whole time that not a penny of it would be paid by public money. These coaching salaries and buyouts never are. That was always a cover to justify his unusually high level of interest and involvement in the process.

In the end does it really matter? I can think of a ton of better uses for $50 million than giving it to BK to sit his fat white butt on the beach.

Doesn't matter if it's part my money or purely the Raising Cains guys money.

In the end, we will all pay in the bitter end anyway. Whether that is higher ticket prices to accommodate the buyout or an extra few bucks when. I go for chicken

Nothing happens in a vacuum.

Does the Children's Hospital of Louisiana have enough funds to be laundered?

Well, the important thing is to fire the AD. That is a huge factor in their future brilliant success.

In this case-I kind of agree. Just giving the biggest name on the market a contract he cannot say no to is not always the answer.

Over $100 million in buyouts in football alone from coaches he has signed in the past 8 years ( no, I did not count the $95 million extension Woodwards successor at A&M, only the initial $75 million contract).

Basically, what would have happened if D White had offered Franklin whatever kings ransom it was he asked for to come here. Disaster averted right there.

The Governor literally was behind the donor to shoulder the load. lol.

One donor is handling it all who is friends with the governor. The governor never said state funds would be used. He said potentially. That is different from saying "the state is going to be on the hook for this buyout"....

LSU got rid of their coach and their failed AD because of the governor's bully pulpit. No one in LSU is crying about this. lol
