For decades, I've read casually, with increasingly lowered expectations - editorials from Jon Adams and the ilk. Understanding that society takes the clickbait every single, time. Also, that money is the driver.

But, should we lose all journalistic integrity? KNS still holds a powerful position, as a mouthpiece and or influencer in UTAD.

In a day and time when Newspaper subs are dwindling, and revenue slipping. Why then would a news outlet outright try to thwart the program that drives many subscribers to its website, for said clicks?

Shame on KNS and Blake Toppmeyer for this, slop. Shame on you for even allowing the idea of the thought of this, to attempt to influence or dissuade fans. Or Heuepl himself. I will attest I didnt read its entirety, bc I dont want to give you money.

I hope when January hits we raid Auburn, LSU, Florida, possibly Penn State for some roster needs. Auburn has some REALLY talented Defensive guys who could help fill in some gaps, and if history holds they will screw up this hire. One rumor floating around is Jimbo Fisher.

The lack of urgency this drive absolutely infuriated me. We had to have scored BEFORE the 2 minute timeout and just had no urgency. Sorry for beating a dead horse here but man this could have completely changed the outcome of the game if we had more urgency this drive

Wasting 29 seconds after that initial first down is nasty work. Also, Joey needs to throw the ball away instead of running for 4 yards.

We have always been terrible in situational down and distance. Need to be more detailed oriented.

All these people trying to show Heupel the door or encouraging him to look around either didn't live through the 2010s as a football fan or they have some form of amnesia.

While UT is at a better position to make a hire than years gone by, I don't want to be in the coaching search realm this offseason with so many other jobs open and available.

I'm as frustrated as anyone when I think this team could be undefeated or only have 1 loss instead of 3. However, the fact we're in this spot is due to the fact that Heupel is a high-level coach. Is he perfect? Nope. But I really don't think if he leaves now that UT gets someone as good as he is. Maybe, I'm wrong, but I don't want to find out.

Hopefully they'll be some adjustments the rest of this season, some staff shakeup in the offseason, and some more team leaders develop in the offseason that won't have to deal with a spring portal and can be unified going through spring into next fall and try to make another playoff run next season. With the SEC moving to 9 games and the way rosters are going to change each year, I think making the playoff every 2 or 3 times in 5 years is and with being in contention for them going into November each season being realistic goals. I'll take higher goals and aspirations, but as already said, I don't know if it's feasible.

Always dug HCs with an instant presence. Extra credit for those that were elite offensive or defensive minds before they got their shot. Hadn’t experienced that with the team I follow since Ditka…who was the former not so much the latter. What you love is mistakes are made and then not repeated ad nauseum. There’s an edge building towards something. Similar fanbase to this one, tho.

Doubt we see boo rest of year. Him not playing a defensive snap was telling. If you don’t trust him dont play him at all, imo. Time to get daune morris back on punt return and get him some good rb work against nmsu. He’ll be the star thomas replacement next year in the backfield.

I am really disappointed in Boo. I have know of him for many years and I really thought that if he got his act together he had the chance to be an iconic Vol. The old saying goes, "You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him do the work and behave himself."
