Exactly this! And the fact that Joey IS way better than anyone expected, it only magnifies the flaws in this team, i.e. poor fundamentals, poor clock management, mistakes, etc. We dont do the little things well, which get you beat when youre not boat racing someone. It is tough to reconcile that with Aguilar being 10X better than anyone expected. It’s borderline miraculous.
Stop with the facts.H$$!! Yeah! 9-3 would be INCREDIBLE. We lost our QB and most of the D in the off season. Sure we could have beaten GA, AL, or OK but was that realistic? In many ways we’re overachieving. This is a crazy CFB environment. We’re going to get there.
So we coached up guys nobody knew about and coached up a quarterback. That’s called exceeding expectations. You don’t get to bitch after the fact that they didn’t exceed expectations enough…..well you do, but nobody at the university is thinking the way you areWe upgraded at both those spots though. Expectations should adjust accordingly.
We got more PT for Matthews and Staley over Squirrel, who wasn’t very good to begin with, and should definitely have been benched with his injured shoulder. We kept Brazell. Our trio is a five star and two four stars. Not sure where you’re getting the idea that they were some hidden secret. So we coached up guys nobody knew about and coached up a quarterback. BS LMFAO. Heupel worked his ass off getting Joey ready to play.We got more PT for Matthews and Staley over Squirrel, who wasn’t very good to begin with, and should definitely have been benched with his injured shoulder. Weird how Joey comes in, gets almost no coaching, and is immediately way better than Milton or Iamaleava who had years of coaching.
Yeah he has been for most of the season BUT his rep for tossing some ill advised INTS has reared it's head at some untimely moments too like this past game and on the goal line at AlabamaDon’t recall suggesting otherwise. But relative to everyone else on the roster he has received very little coaching. Other than probably Brazell, he’s our best player.

Very few lows those first few games of the season. Almost every INT was on the receivers. He had the one really deep throw against UGA, but that was at the end of the half and it that situation didn’t really matter. Also, there was a pretty blatant uncalled PI.I don't know that I would describe it as getting worse. It's just who is as a player. Lots of highs and a few lows. The untimeliness of it exacerbates it
