It's about that time of year... What's yall's?
Mine is either Home Alone 2 or Polar Express, both just really nostalgic for me.

Christmas Vacation, of course. The Santa Claus. Scrooged. Christmas in Connecticut and Holiday Inn. Both are quite dated but still carry an otherworldly charm. The Christmas Chronicles with Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn is a good recent flick.

Also, Die Hard is obviously Christmas movie.

Just to throw it out there I pretty much always throw myself a curve ball around Christmas with Better Watch Out, Black Christmas and Rare Exports.

Here's what I want to know....why doesn't It's a Wonderful Life get **** for not being a Christmas movie? It happens on Christmas Eve. It's about one guy finding happiness in relationships and community. It's wholesome, but it's so light on the actual Christmas side of things. Only a tiny bit of Christmas music. A tiny bit of iconography. It's part of the story, but it could be Easter. It doesn't even have to be happening on a holiday, and it barely seems like it is.

The entirety of Die Hard happens at a Christmas party. The movie is filled with Christmas music, iconography, references to Christmas in dialogue, Christmas-themed jokes about murder, etc. 😄

You wear (wore) magic underwear. Your opinion about "Christmas" is irrelevant.

Why is Christmas in quotation marks, LOL? Are you questioning whether or not we're really talking about Christmas?

A lot of people have really stupid religious beliefs that they STILL follow and I'd be a POS for making fun of them, but Mormons are fair game.

I watch a bunch of Christmas shows during the Christmas season. The Christmas season starts, as anyone with two firing synapses knows, on the Friday after Thanksgiving. For Christmas eve, I always try to watch Charlie Brown, Mr. McGoo's Christmas Carol, Rudolph, It's a Wonderful Life, Claymation Christmas, Garfield, and last, A Christmas Carol from 1951 with Alistair Sims.

The shots you fired give me license to be a dick...you have the most boring list of Christmas movies I have ever seen.

Why does Die Hard 2 always get left out, it takes place on Christmas Eve too.

Also I always thought it was weird the office Christmas party in Die Hard was on Christmas Eve; like I've never heard of work places having their annual Christmas party on Christmas Eve.

I already worked through this on my 2017 Die Hard apology tour. The Japanese-owned business didn't understand the US custom of when to celebrate with work colleagues.

A Garfield Christmas is very underrated.
