Correct me if I'm wrong, McDad, but I recall you being one of the many on this board that has said that you generally don't vote for a presidential candidate (or vote 3rd party which I view as basically the same thing).

I don’t know about McDad but that’s what I do.

I honestly don't know. I figure with it being so close to DC that it would naturally lean Democrat.

Something like 11 of the last 12 governors are the opposing party of whoever is POTUS at the time.

I put McDad at about a 35-40

I didn't even know that they had elections yesterday. Looking at it it looks as though the D's maintained what they already had and gained some lower level positions. If you see yesterdays election results as a referendum good for ya, but I don't.

I think McDad is willing to call out the stupidity of the Rs. But I think he's more conservative than his posting might seem to imply...

that is correct. I stopped voting with Obama/McCain. My decision is a point of contention with some others on the board. I respect why they feel that way. But I have my reasons and those reasons sit well with my conscience.
