If you’re hinting at Freeman, he’s not leaving ND. That dude is one Hell of a coach and he’s got it made there. Lose 2 or fewer games and he’ll always be in the playoff. Why risk that for LSU, where dysfunction reigns supreme at the moment?Something interesting I just read is that new LSU AD, Verge Ausberry, has a son who plays football at Notre Dame.
And when the playoffs expand he will be able to lose 3 and still make playoffsIf you’re hinting at Freeman, he’s not leaving ND. That dude is one Hell of a coach and he’s got it made there. November 5, 2025: Refuse the urge to entertain condemnation. It will do you no good. Use that energy to make choices that will result in a positive difference in your life. You can do nothing about the past, but you can choose a different and better path going forward. Seek the Lord for wisdom in all things. Proverbs 4:23-25 Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life. Put away from you a deceitful mouth, and put perverse lips far from you. Let your eyes look straight ahead, and your eyelids look right before you.
On Basilio recently Beano made a good point. Heupel has taken our program from bad to great with relative quickness. The final step is the hardest though and that’s moving from great to elite. We at least go into each game with a real chance of winning unlike years before. Maybe Heupel can get us there but we need upgrades at other positions for support to take the step.
That is every season of every team ever. A few plays make or break a season. Were you around in 1998? People romanticize it now but we should have lost to Syracuse, we should have lost to Florida, and it was a miracle that we beat Arkansas. Any one of those would have derailed us and it would have been the same as right now. We're also only a couple of plays away from 2 more losses. I think we need to be able to see it both ways. Miss St and Ark shouldn't have been as close as they were.
That was a sad day. The pilot requested and was granted an unrestricted takeoff to showoff for his parents who were in town. He got disoriented in the clouds and stalled he was able to get the engines restarted but it was too late. A crazy back story is that the same pilot (John Stacey Bates) had to eject from another F14 a year earlier. The plane broke apart after a high speed pass by a Navy ship, luckily both pilots were able to eject that time.I grew up in Antioch, on the other side if the runway I mentioned earlier......a little further out but general direction.
When I was in my late teens an Air force jet went down a block over from us. I believe it was a tomcat but not sure. Killed some people we knew of, and the pilots, one of our neighborhood friends found the majority of one of the pilots still buckled in his seat and lead first responders to it about 50 yards from the crash near a treehouse we used to smoke in.
That was wild too
In 1998, Florida and Arkansas were top 10 teams when we played them. Both games were close to a toss up ... We were a heavy favorite vs Arkansas this season and a road favorite at Mississippi State...both those games came down to the end when they actually shouldn't have... But I know the SEC is a gauntlet crowd will reply very soon...That is every season of every team ever. A few plays make or break a season. Were you around in 1998? Winning the ring is freaking hard and you have to have some breaks go your way or divine intervention.
As the poet said, Let me tell ya folks it aint as easy as it looks, It's a long way to the top if you wanna rock n roll.

In the end you are what your record says you are ... Mississippi State and Arkansas are bottom feeders in SEC....

Portal, portal, portal.
Last year was abysmal
How many elite programs are there out there?
What qualifies as elite?
What did they do in the portal?
Asking for convo, not to start an argument.
Yep AP basically said the same thing yesterday morning on 104.5 (Will and Ramone show). Implied anyone headed to the January portal shouldn’t get any reps in these last few games. Ramone specifically asked about BooHe’s gone. Only two for sure portal players right now. And that’s Merk and Boo. All been confirmed
