Recruiting Forum Football Talk IX

I would be shocked if boo isn’t and wouldn’t be surprised by anything his Momma says .

You can read anything but I wouldn’t put to much stock into anything I read from anyone in the media.

Volnation has had Merk portal before the season started but until he says he’s going it’s not official or 100%.

I believe he will but I’ll wait for it to be official before I state it as fact
Boo has talent, but he's too mentally checked out to use it. Plus, IMO, we've done him no justice by playing him at star rather than FS. Still think he could be a lick ass FS IF he applied himself. But that's a very big IF. Kid just lets drama run his life, which is sad, because he's ruining his potential at the NFL.

I don't think Banks is a horrible DC. Not saying he's a good one either. But with talent, I think he'd be fine, as long as he changed up his third down strategy. Where he truly sucks is as a safeties coach. Can't seem to really recruit or develop the position. Our corners would be fine if our top guys were just healthy, but our safety play has always been subpar under the current staff.
Totally fair assessment. Our safeties as a whole has always been a weakness. We have had some individual play from that position that was solid (Tank's last year and Brooks) but never the whole unit.

Better talent and more investment in that position would also help.

The Miami Ohio vs Ohio game tonight is great football. Both programs are solid and they yearly compete for MAC championship. They do not have big NIL money and they will possibly lose some of their best players at end of season, yet year after year they play winning football. They are both very well coached and are very well supported by their communities. Lots of their players are playing for the love of the game receiving minimal NIL.

I have a hard time relating to psychopaths who can split their loyalty like that. I'm Tennessee everything. The only other college cheering I do is for other teams to lose.
Eh, depends on the situation. For instance my Dad is a Tennessee fan, grew up a Tennessee fan, brought me into Tennessee fandom. But he got a scholarship to play at Belmont, so he's a Bruin too, last I checked he was still top 20 all time scorer too.

I know that's probably a little different scenario than you intended though

Your Pops was a baller!! Top 20 scorer is impressive stuff! That’s awesome

Who would he cheer for if the two played? I always cheer for Tennessee to win. I may be mentally unstable, but I'm no psychopath.

Going to look it up
Didn't see that one but saw an angle from security camera that explains the rip in the warehouse. Came in sideways and wing ripped through before crash and explosion.

But what's weird is I saw another video that shows it take off and settle back down on the runway in normal orientation only with engine fire. Maybe the end of that video which was cut off was what you were talking about.

But that doesn't explain how it went from normal orientation on runway to back up in the air sideways ripping through the warehouse.

I'm not sure, probably Tennessee but he certainly wouldn't be disappointed if Belmont won.
