What game did you watch and do you understand football. The defense played a good game. The offense was the problem last night. Stop just talking out of your azz

A. The defense absolutely regressed in the 2nd half, especially when we clawed right back into it and their RB took it down to the 1 yd line with 1:55 left in the game. B. I’m talking about the totality of our defense, the one currently ranked 2nd to last in the SEC. C. I coached HS football at the highest level in Georgia for 17 years and was a defensive coordinator for eight years where I had the privilege of coaching two eventual first round draft picks, but maybe you know more about football than me because I have been out for a few years.

You didn’t miss anything. I guess that fellow didn’t notice the defense that gave up 140 yards to a pedestrian OK offense in the third quarter alone. First half was better but we reverted to the same pitiful form in the second half.

The defense played a good half. They gave up over 250 yards in the second half and allowed an inexperienced O Line to lead the way for 192 yards on the ground in our house.

It’s funny that you’d say someone doesn’t understand football when you think that one good half of defense is a “good game.”

Get what? The fact that we generally haven’t been able to stop a runny nose this year. One good half does not a decent defense make. We certainly miss the two corners but we’ve had the full D line rotation back for 4 games now and it has made no difference. Teams are rolling through us like poop through a goose.
