NC State is overrated to me, just let them earn the ranking by beating UCLA, I don’t care about the upcoming cupcakes.

LV’s are deep and they will be fresh the entire game with their wave substitutions, plus they have the talent now to capitalize on that. I have no idea how their defense will be, it was middling at best last season in the conference, closer to bottom tbh, but I suspect that won’t matter much this year as long as they hit threes at a clip of 33% or better, which is likely with their lineup. CKC’s system is real, the rest of WBB has not caught up yet. It just took getting the right athletes to fill the slots 1-10, which she has now imo. I can’t imagine any team looking fwd to playing UT this year, they are going to wear out most teams. They look like hell on wheels going fwd this year, I would not bet against them vs any team.

UT might even beat UConn again this year. Very good chance imo. Not many SEC teams will beat UT this year. Maybe 2-3 at most. I could see this UT team only losing 2-3 games in conference, maybe less if they hit threes at a clip above 33% as a team. It’s a breakout season for them, again imo but it seems like it is a given. I’m not prone to hyperbole, but I see the wave coming. Most others kinda see it also but are afraid to say it because it hasn’t happened yet with that system. There are other teams trying to copy cat already. Flattery. In a few more years plenty of teams will be running the same system, it’s the great equalizer. Like spread offense in CFB.

Everyone thought you couldn’t recruit great players to this system until CKC showed you can…….

The officiating was terrible but with the last two and a half minutes you must have your 5 best players on the floor with a game in question.

This was basically a road game as 80 percent or more of the crowd was NC St. We lost the game when the Refs went crazy before the half calling a technical and several suspect fouls to get them back from ten down. We can play a lot better than we played in this game. Doubt NC St will ever play another game where they got this type of advantage on the calls.

Nah this isn’t on the refs. They were missing point blank layups, taking unnecessary 3’s, and was getting torched on the backend of that press. For the love of all things, everybody was having trouble guarding man to man. UT’s half court offense and defense needs work.

Playing a top 10 team away from home. We lost by 3 and the refs swallowed their whistle (some extremely blatant fouls should have been called) Kim's team get punished because of the way they play--same as last year. I think we are going to be fine.

Tough loss few players that should be better like Zee she was outplayed. Jersey gave them nothing which hurt. Freshman good and bad so much to learn from this game. Mia was not afraid of the moment which I love. Considering fouls and a Technical which were free 2 points and the biggest take away from me was Pack was much more fluid and ahead at running there system while We have a ways to go in that department especially losing Ruby and experienced player. This Team will get much better playing this game than beating up a inferior opponent. In CHRIST Alone

IMO we were a little high on our own supply regarding our talent level. Also about how much sheer athletic ability would help. We’re very similar to last year’s team.

That said, it’s way early, and our team will improve a lot. Great start for Coop, and Civil is the real deal. Will pretty much go as far as those two can carry us this year.

I have to agree. Play aggressively but maybe keep your best 5-8 on the floor more to develop a rhythm. Press when we can but stop allowing those easy shots when the press gets broken.
