Our half court D is no better than last yr. Or the yr before or the year before that. So weird, no matter the coach, system or players the LVs simply cannot stop penetration

At some point u need to focus on keeping the player in front of u, instead of gambling on steals, just slide you’re feet.

We really haven't spread the minutes out like I would've expected with the depth of this team. Cooper, Mia, Spearman are all 18+ minutes played. Is coach wanting to play them almost 30 today?

Agree. Thats been my concern since last year. Good guards and passing teams can easily break it down

Shes not changing it. They concede those, hoping to out possess and therefore out score them. They did and will lose games because it. Baked in the “system” cake.

What needs to happen is for someone on the floor needs to high at least 20& of their shots. Civil needs to be playing more and our players need to look at the goal instead of the person guarding her when she shoots. It is very difficult to make baskets if you don't look at the goal when you are shooting.

She was a three maker and zero otherwise. Was it a plus, not sure especially since she often was shut down against good teams.
