The Atlanta Braves

Idk about Fernando. 173 wins 153 losses. Only won 20 games once. He had a great 4/5 year run, but I'm not sure that's enough
I don't think he should be in, but W/L or win total doesn't have anything to do with it. He didn't do anything special after the age of 25. I've never really bought the whole "but he made every Mexican in LA a Dodger fan" thing. Cool, then the Dodgers should retire his number and put him in their HoF (which they have).

I can't believe Mattingly hasn't gotten in purely because of the team he played for.

I’d just about put him in just based on his rookie year. Fernando-mania was crazy. But yeah- he wrecked his arm throwing a screwball.

I would rather have had Tony Vitello with zero MLB experience than Walt Weiss. Combine this with Kim opting out and it's just a black hole of suck. Braves need to go hard in free agency, which means they probably won't, and the black hole of suck will expand. Dammit.

Woke up depressed. Probably the lowest I’ve felt about the Braves since September 2014

If there is any glimmer of hope, it's that the manager position isn't nearly as important to success in baseball as HC is to football. Ozzie Guillen managed a WS team for crying out loud. And as terrible as Snit was, he also won a WS.

Hopefully Weiss has been taking notes on what not to do, or we hire a competent bench coach to help him make those decisions.
