Is it wrong to think the expectation should be to make the playoffs every year? I'm not saying you fire a coach for missing it one year, like we'll miss it this year. But if Heupel were to miss the playoffs 3-4 straight years in a row, would that not be a sign it was time to move on? I know every year isn't realistic, but making it once every three years, that should be realistic, IMO. I mean, schools like Alabama, Georgia, Texas, Ohio State... Those schools' fanbases have the expectations of making it every year. So it's not like I'm putting us on an unreachable pedestal. Making it one out of three years seems like a fair expectation. We made it last year. We missed it this year. Should we miss it another couple of years, then yeah, I think Heupel should be on the hotseat. But that's not now. Now is hoping they come back next year, stronger and tougher and ready to kick ass. But the expectation every year, IMO, should be make the playoffs.
