President Donald Trump - J.D. Vance Administration

I don't think you are correct, what is your source of info? Coaches are paid a stipend on top of their school salary, at my high school coach got a teachers salary as a Physical Ed teacher plus a coaches stipend. Some of those stipends are over $100,000 in texas, Georgia Florida etc

I know several HS football coaches and when my son played I helped fund raise every year to help pay the booster supplied coaching stipend. Yes the counties provide a stipend on top of the teacher salary but they are rarely more than $10 grand a year. The rest comes from the boosters or other sources outside of county funds.

I bet the IRS would find this interesting.

The European division of my company laid over staff years ago and moved it, via Accenture, to India.

We keep raising wages and people in China, India, Thailand, Vietnam, etc. are happy to edit step in and take your job. There is a reason America is getting it's tale kicked in Exports by China in most of the globe.

Let's raise minimal wage though... go ahead, companies will just fire people and offshore to India.

I do have some disagreement with how government spends money. On the local level I know of one system that pays a high school math teacher around $40,000/year it's football coach North of $100,000. Some high school coaches make much more than that.

I’m not for sure which school system you’re referring to, but I know most schools have a scale that the county or city pays their teachers and coaches. The last time I checked a high school football coach in Knox County maxed out at around $7k per year plus their teacher salaries.

I was paid around $2500 a year to coach middle school football around 15 years ago in Anderson County.

I do know a few high schools that the boosters club throws some cash to the coaches.

Are the schools in Oak Ridge in Anderson County?

Several years back there was a bill in the TN legislature to standardize teacher pay across the entire state of TN, I though that to one of the dumbest proposals ever.

Oak Ridge isn’t part of the Anderson County School system. Oak Ridge schools are city.

Oak Ridge city schools benefit greatly from CNS and Y-12 the major nuclear plant in Oak Ridge.
