College Hoops Around The Country [TN opponents, RPI, others]

Already needing home cooking from the zebras, Steven should’ve started out at a lower level.

Wonder if Freeman regrets picking Bruce only to get the bait & switch pulled on him?

Steven Pearl in the handshake line had a facial expression of a man that looks like he knows he’s cooked.
He was rubbing his eyes in exasperation in the middle of defensive possessions at multiple points. He's so far in over his head it is insane.

Bethune has some dudes that can play though.

I only kept track of the score, but it seemed like it was a nail-biter and could have gone either way.

The parts I saw Arizone seemed to hold a lead pretty consistently of 3 to 8 points. Florida is missing Walter Clayton Jr, who put that team on his shoulders over and over and over again, taking over in the last 5 minutes or so time and time again.

It's early and someone may still emerge to take that role. But without it, meh, solid but not FF material.

Every year it seems like Auburn has a player that uses his shoulder as a battering ram under the basket. But if you graze him, free throws

Washington might be the team flying the most under the radar this year. Hannes Steinbach is really talented. I remember watching him in the FIBA earlier this year while playing for Germany. He really stood out as someone we might see at the next level.

Kentucky can't shoot the ball. 28 points at the half against Nicholls. 2-16 from 3 and 6-13 from the line.
i was just over at Rupp's Rafters, which is on On3 now if anyone is looking for it, and there's thread after thread complaining about their shooting. This AAC guy Kam Williams was thought to be a first-round prospect. That's the narrative the Kentucky media sells that fan base. They want them engaged and spending money. He doesn't even look like a guy who will have an opportunity to turn pro thus far. I know it's early, but I also kept up closely with UK and their activity in the portal.

They landed some decent guys but they were guys way down the list that they settled on after striking out on their top targets. Their best transfer came at a bargain because he just blew out his knee in April. It's just 8 months later and you have to think his situation sort of mirrors ours in football with McCoy.

Lowe is still out so they will look better, but Lowe wasn't known as a great shooter transferring in.

UMES played both Georgia Tech and Georgia, GT won by 4 and UGA won by 75!!! Is UGA legit?? Or is Georgia Tech that bad?
