Looks like Vols having the makings of some good inside play - going to need outside shooting to come around.

I thought maybe we were under ranked some going into the season, but I think it’s probably about right. Going to take some time for this team to gel. A bit surprised that a Senior like Gillespie isn’t having more success on offense against a team like Mercer.

I want to be wrong, but it looks like we have a lot of just ok to decent players not the type of dynamic players we've had recently. Ament, maybe, but I worry he's going to show that spark after he leaves Knoxville. Gillispie has potential, but he's smallish and will have trouble creating his own shot in league play. I'm just struck by the lack of quickness for this team. ZZ so spoiled us, but guys like Gainey are going to be sorely missed.

To be fair, three consecutive Elite 8's would be an awfully greedy ask.
