He would likely bring most of his staff with him, though.

Again, I'm not saying he's 100% going to do this. And in a normal coaching carousel year, it would be unlikely. But there are already a ton of big P4 jobs open with likely more to come. If he thinks his stock won't get any higher, he will listen, because he/his agent will get some interest from jobs that otherwise might not look his way. There simply aren't enough qualified coaches out there to insulate him/Tennessee from that potential.

Everyone on here saying they're not saying to fire Heupel, but it's seems to me that there's a lot of you who wouldn't be upset if he left.

I dont want him fired but I do expect him to fix his problem in the off season and if he dont then he is putting his job on the line and there is no proof that he is willing to fix his problem.

UT fans thinking Heupel would use any interest for more than getting a bigger contract with Tennessee is even more deluded. Only way Heupel leaves is if we fire him.

Don’t know if he was or wasnt, haven’t seen an angle showing he was or heard anyone else mention it.

What I do know is it was a blocking mistake
That led to the defender going basically untouched to the QB and causing the fumble.

Offside or not he could have been blocked.
But blame the refs

You’re right on getting toxic. I thought 22 USC and last year against Arkansas were worse losses . I thought he did enough to win last night if the team just doesn’t implode in the first half. Oklahoma is pretty good and has a very good defense. I did think he got out coached pretty bad in the second half. Oklahoma made a bunch of adjustments and we never really countered. Oklahoma reminds me of our team last year. Really good defense and average offense. They kicked our butts on the line of scrimmage. Joey took a beating and he made some bad decisions as a result. I just hate the constant negativity as it’s run off 80% of the better people that used to be in this forum. It’s just a miserable way to live and only hurts the program.

Kitselman seems like a great guy, but he probably has more drops than anyone on the team. #0 and Brahme would be getting his snaps anyhow. One of them should have been in Vandorsalear’s spot on that 4th and 1 too.

James Pearce has 8 total tackles, 4 solo, 1 fumble recovery, and a half sack.

This season.... he's played in 7 games.

Thinking of Edge. How about Joshua Josephs completely disappearing? Zero sacks and like 8 tackles in the last 4 games. One of the bigger problems imo.

3 are top half of the league also. With how many jobs are open you know there will be some poaching. Going to be an interesting off season especially when you factor in player movement.

Arkansas was at least an away game as was SC. SC also cheated. Last night was the worst IMO. We are 5 years in. The excuses are old and tired. Want to stop the negativity, quit looking like it's year 1.
