Let me say we have a lot of lurkers popping up right now on VolNation trying to control the narrative!
Make no mistake these folks are still involved in negative recruiting at an alarming rate.
Focusing on what matters, that official commitment video by Gabby Minus tonight just shows how special it is to not only get an outstanding talent but just how deep the excitement in being a Lady Vol for the player and family runs deep.

Knox isn't referring to Skim. There are other sites who talk negatively towards Tennessee.

There's a lot of folks who don't want to see Tennessee back on top in women's basketball.

The brand is to big and powerful!

IMO this class was already a success as soon as they signed big O. Especially in the context of this year’s absolutely loaded class. Anything additional is gravy. Still have the portal, where they’ve also had success, to fill immediate needs.

Getting Crittendon would be an embarrassment of riches, which I’d gladly live with.

I love keeping up with the recruiting! Interesting that coaches went after most of the top ten & twenty ranked players . And got big O the #2 overall ranked player which was a big type player 6’3” that we needed the most of this year since we lose several bigs after this year …. This was a need and couldn’t be a better fit for our future teams !

Then they go after a #66 ranked player that used to be ranked #44….. now let that sink in ! 🤔. Talking about getting players that FIT YOUR PROGRAM ! Only time will tell if she will be the player to fit the system ? Or not ? 🤷‍♂️. But I’m a believer of this young coach and her assistant’s…. This is gonna be fun to watch . Love this … just wow 😮

I believe that Minus will be a very good fit. Pretty sure this coaching staff has made it very clear that they aren't goin for players who are NOT a fit

How do you explain us offering virtually all top ten players in 26 and 27? I would argue it is because almost all the best talent CAN fit. Fit is more of a thing with lower level talent like this take unless an elite player has non-basketball characteristics identified as a concern.

They determine the fit once the player arrives for an official/unofficial visit on campus. Focusing on an individual player ranking is outdated and part of the reason you see various programs having big HS classes followed by smaller classes or neither during the NIL era.
Right now, there are top 10 programs with virtually no verbal HS commits.
All programs give out multiple scholarship offers which is just part of the recruiting process.
Coach Caldwell and her elite recruiting staff has signed or received verbal commits from 16 4-star or 5-star players in 20 months in 2025 and 2026.
There’s not another team in WBB with a better percentage of adding this level of talent. Only a few others are recruiting at this level during this timeframe.

I disagree that all top basketball HS players would fit the LV system as several other boarders have stated. Coach Caldwell has stated specifically the qualities she is seeking of new players. The listing we have followed all year of players offered DOES Not include all top players.

Reviewing the players who have visited they all have the qualities she is seeking as future LVs.

Bottom line is this staff offers those who they believe will succeed at Tenn and in this system! If they are top 10 or top 100, doesn't matter, as long as they help do what everybody wants them too! Win National Championships

And the point of my earlier post stands. That was almost all top ten type players can fit our system. The offers in 27 and previously in 26 confirm it. Taking a lower level talent doesn’t mean they chose her over elite players.
