I don't think any of the teams that are firing coaches right now have a succession plan beyond maybe their AD having a list. Just a bunch of lemmings following each other off the cliff. PSU and LSU probably could've just traded coaches and each called it a win.

My expectations were 7-5 maybe 6-6.
How do you replace the entire receiver room, qb, starting safety, with the starter at right corner a question, lose an NFL running back and pass rusher…..didn’t sound like a team that could miss a game winning FG against Ga to me.
That was just my worthless opinion. There’s just no way in my mind this team was possible this year. For all his faults, I’ll take Hypel as my coach. He may not win enough of the big games but that dude is never out of it.
