The Official #18 Oklahoma (6-2/2-2) at #14 TENNESSEE (6-2/3-2) Thread - Zone Edition – Neyland Stadium - Knoxville - November 1 @ 7:30 EST - ABC

Yeah, Farooq Hood Spillman and Redmond all played well. By far the best this group played all year. Probably not a coincidence that Boo played 0 defensive snaps.

Our OL is two guys that weren't starting at other schools, and 2 true/redshirt freshman, a transfer from Arizona, and a guy (Shams) that probably isnt a SEC caliber guard. And yeah, they didnt look good....
That’s been the hole in Hypel’s recruiting. The O line. We have 2 promising youngsters but that’s about all he’s landed.

The hole has been developing the HS recruits as well. Sanders is going to be good. Perry will be a serviceable SEC guard. Everything else has been a Pruitt holdover, a guy that isnt high end SEC caliber, or a transfer.....

We've spent a good bit of money to bring in ND, Texas, and LSU backups the past 2-3 years to start for us. Money spent there is money not being spent for other glaring needs...

Don’t forget mincy who could not cut it at Florida…or here.
That was a huge waste of time that could have been spent on development

I really wish we hadn’t gotten a full visual on Heupel not understanding the clock rules. Seared into my brain.
I didn't understand them either. Only stops within the last 2 minutes. I did not realize that it didn't stop when forward momentum continues OOB. I must be confusing pro and ncaa again.

Yeah, its like this.

We're right where I thought we'd be before season. Its disappointing because of our start, but it is what it is.

He loses to the gaters and the best way to illustrate it is like this.

My wife cheats on me and things will change. Rule book says to forgive and work it out. Its possible after time things can get better and go on, but it will never be the same as it was. Possible it gets worse, but its possible it gets stronger. Thats what I hope for.

But make no mistake. It will change things.

It's because we almost beat Georgia and saw how good our offense could be this season without many mistakes. Set fan expectations really high, but also credit to Oklahoma's defense as well. They did some things to cause those mistakes last night.

The 4th down play call was money.
They had been working it in practice. The point was to go to the guy nobody was expecting and it worked perfectly…..if the guy had gotten his head around or swagger had waited 1/2 second longer to throw the ball.

Of course in hindsight, Ole Miss, Auburn, and UF all outplayed Georgia in the first half too..

Here's hoping we use the bye week to heal and get better and win out

Those cocktards in the FF....easy to fahr and pay buyouts wen it's somebody else's $$$

GO VOLS
We’re not firing Hypel for a season that’s going better than expected. Here’s the behind the scenes scuttlebut. (Take it or leave it). There was a conversation at the end of last season with the AD. It was decided to send the bad elements packing in favor of long term success. The fans don’t like it but the university was planning for it. We won’t really know if it was a good or bad plan till next year. And this isn’t just booster talk. There are interviews with DW where he basically says that.

I wouldnt say better than expected (unless we win last 3).

Vegas had us at 8 in August (+125 if you took over on 8.5 or -130/-135 if you took over on 7.5)
