Josh Is The SEC Version of James Franklin

Or we're the SEC's version of Penn State. A team that recruits at a top 15 level annually but expects top 5 results.

We need to stack recruiting classes like the 2026 class for the next couple of years if we want to be a national title contender.
We have almost identical recruiting talent to Oklahoma. We certainly have a better roster than Mississippi State and Arkansas, but we fart around and end up in a dog fight with them.

You don’t need 20 five stars to be fundamentally good. You have to prioritize it in practice. We don’t.

Plus we doubled their offensive production. Their ace kicker won the game for them. We would not have had to kick the on-side and been up by 2 at the 2 min warning

More like our stupid turnovers won the game for them. I think they got at least 10 points, if not 14 off our turnovers.

Please, it's not that bad but we do need to make some changes on defense.

Also, don't forget we didn't get our starting QB until July. Not a lot of time to get sync'd up.
Defense kept us in this game while the offense fukked around. We should have scored 28 in the first half. The defense did fold up like lawn chair by the end. But OU should have been too far behind to keep screwing us with a qb lead play. That's ALL on the offense. And everyone was crying all week about the defense and apparently assuming the offense would perform well. But they sure as **** didn't. Total team loss. Like they all are.

Has beaten UF twice
Has beaten Alabama twice
Has beaten LSU
Is 1 and 1 against Oklahoma

Alabama twice and LSU are good wins.

Those Florida teams don't have winning records.

We also lost to Florida twice, Arkansas once, South Carolina once, and got blown out by Missouri (2023). We are also 0-5 against Georgia.

The Penn State/James Franklin analysis is pretty spot on. Honestly, it really isn't that bad in scheme of things but it has been rough this year.

You can whittle that bs list down to one impactful win. That's the 2022 Alabama. The 2024 Alabama team lost to Vandy. Yikes.

Florida hasn't been good for 15 years. We've just been worse.

LSU just fired the trash coach of theirs we beat.

Hes put a huge big o'fer against Georgia.

Hasn't sniffed the SEC title game.

One legit win in 5 ****ing years. Give the man a contract extension for crying out loud...

Agree about the game but it is defensive coaching that needs the upgrade.

Also, we have been behind in the recruiting battles but this upcoming year looks better.
