Defense played the best they have in several games. They held Oklahoma to a low enough points that we should have won. Offense let us down tonight. Turnovers and failure to close out drives early are what nailed us.

They played great the 1st half. 2nd half was pretty much what weve seen all year. Better tackling throughout though

Yes this was all schemes and coaching. They played good enough to beat UGA. Just bad tackling and decisions at Bama. This is all from the sideline and upstairs.

I’m officially off of the Heupel train. He’s a loser that is acceptable of mediocrity and accepts a pathetic DC without considering an upgrade. Banks will take Heupel down because Heupel allowed it. This loss is beyond disgusting. There is no excuse. Heupel is a loser. A mediocre coach at best. I seriously hope the my Vols lose the remaining of their games to that Danny White forces Heupel to grow a set to fire his DC, DB, and WR coaches. Bottom line as bad as we played, questionable play calling and turnovers - if we make a 37 yard field goal the game is tied with about a minute and a few seconds left. Probably gets the game to OT. Most college teams have a kicker that makes a 37 yard field goal at a high clip.

Yep, this game and the Georgia game could be two different stories. It is what it is.

I feel like the defense played a lot better this week than last and the offensive play calling was pretty good for the most part. This came was solely on the players completing their plays. Kitsleman has a drop, #3 can’t spell his name hit him in the freaking face mask, stayley has a pass bounce off his hands, Aguilar made 2 bad decisions throwing the ball. The 2nd half the online couldn’t pick up blocks minus bishop. Kids a player. We have a pretty good team if they can just put it all together one game. No one was talking all this crap when we should have gotten a field goal against GA to beat them. We just haven’t put together a full game yet. it’s either the defense or the offense that’s clicking. Then if the line is doing good and so is QB, the. You have 19485829 dropped passes. I don’t know what the deal is but yea just my take on it.

I think Heupel started putting him in situations that were more difficult against the OU defense. First quarter we were taking and working with what OU would give us. Then, Josh decides to start making it more difficult with low percentage success play calls.

This is year 5. You have one of the best NIL budgets. Recruiting does not match the budget, wins do not match the budget, and coaching does not match the budget. Other teams win the big games consistently. We don’t. Just calling balls and strikes. Better win out.

Of course it won't because Heupel isn't serious about his job and the long term of the program. Heupel did this same sh!t with Nico in 2023 when it was clear the season was over after we lost to Bama 7 games in.
