I was out and now I’ll make some comments. I knew we’d lose before halftime, hell, I knew it as most of us did. I get the bend not break defense because that’s what’s needed on our offense . @InVOLuntary, I can’t imagine your blood pressure now and you’ve been consistent. Tim Banks needs to go. No, I don’t lay it all on the defense, but dang it, it’s past mid season and teams know what to do on offense. We made Mateer look like a Heisman candidate and I wasn’t even surprised. We’re out as far as the CFP, as we should be. Until Banks is gone, I’m done.

They know Aguilar is a gunslinger and baited him over and over. Our coach kept calling long pass plays and not being patient.

Three runs after turnover. Why not ***** ever after a turnover and change in momentum. Gave it all back to them with a three and out.

Why is Lewis playing? He can’t catch and is an average runner.

Kitselman has had drops all year. Davis is a mismatch nightmare and had a great game and you leave him out in a fourth down call? Kitselman keeps being rewarded with all the reps and drops 3-4 a game?

Where are the motions to help Joey read the defense and what they are in? Nothing to help him see the defense and all the disguises Venebles likes to do.

We definitely need to hire someone to take over safety responsibilities from Banks. Garner is fine as long as he has the bodies. We didn't get enough DL help from the portal. Chop is fine, too. Inge has a good class coming in. We'll see how he does going forward. Martinez's unit was good last year. Hard to criticize him too much with both McCoy and Gibson out. Another position where we failed in the portal. I mean, Hood was an excellent pickup, but we needed more. The biggest weakness on defense this season has been Banks himself.

This is JMO, but our biggest failure on defense was not being more aggressive in the portal.

In the Georgia game, we had a ton of creativity, after that game, weve kinda gona way from everything we did in that game.

I don’t agree that he’s wilting. I do agree that he needs to make some changes to his staff. Can’t go into 2026 with all the same assistants. Inge, Banks, Martinez, and Halzle all need to go imo.

We have the lead. Force a TO. WR’s unguardable and Joey throwing all over them. The result after the TO? 3 straight runs from Heup while we’re averaging 1.7 ypc. Inexcusable

Biggest problem in the run game, our center has a high ankle sprain and is unable to get to his landmarks to create big plays, his duo blocks are off, he can’t pull like mays, and he is unable to reach step right to block down bc of it.

Either there’s no one else who could do it or I dunno.

We don’t have the best OLine coach, hes not a great OLine talent developer, and he seemingly isn’t a good evaluator of talent… …. Why is he here!?!

I’m with you on the guys being good coaches but if we let banks walk and hire a new DC we need to let him bring his guys if he wants
I’m ready for a new energetic DC with a couple good developmental coaches and a couple strong recruiting coaches

Technically, there doesn't seem to be an actual limit on coaches anymore, so he could bring in new guys while hiring some of his own as well. JMO, but Garner, Chop, and Inge are valuable. I'm okay with replacing Martinez with someone comparable or better. We definitely need better at safety. If you look at our current class, almost all of our DB commits are projects.
