He didn’t do anything that alarming this game. Our online stunk, and our QB had a couple bad INTs.

Just like every other team that wins a title. He went 7-6 in year one with like 55 scholarship players. Championship teams have championship rosters.

Is that not the case with every coach and team—especially in the SEC? Talent covers up coaching and scheme flaws.

We've maligned the ass cheeks off of Banks, but his unit has flopped less than offense.

Prove me wrong.

Not actually picking on offense here just pondering if they get a pass without reason.

GMac needs time to bulk up at least, not sure about Merk and where he is at but you’d think that Heupel should have him ready by year 3.

He’s had a cupcake of a schedule at home the past 3 seasons outside of Uga and Bama. The the last 2 years were the easiest schedules Tennessee has had in a longgggggg time

Yeh, Hype will not win a natty here. Too loyal to marginal coaches.

We are also not a fan base that will force excellence. OH ST was going to fire Day after Michigan last year if not for the title. Then he upgrades with the best defensive coordinator in college ball and they look like the champs again.

DW didn’t run him off. That’s dumb. Tony wanted to be the first to go straight to MLB. He has been funded to the hilt and that wasn’t changing. Some media buzzards invented a scapegoat for attention and to make money off irate fan attention. Can’t believe people fell for the “engagement farming.” No, I can believe it.

Okay explain what was poorly coached about it. I didn’t see many questionable play calls per say, but just lack of execution. That 4th down was a perfect play call. Dropped. We start going pass heavy because it’s working, suddenly online can’t block. So we try to pivot back to the run game, that still ain’t working. Sometimes there’s not a lot you can do as a coach if you’re line is stinking that bad. Maybe more short sideline passes would have been worth looking at for sure.

Anyone wanting to fire Heupel needs to take a breath and look around at the state of college football.

There's no way we need to even be thinking about coach shopping this season. I'll be ticked when CJH's name gets linked to some of these openings and DW has to bump his salary up to keep him.


Josh is good but he needs some coaching help.
