#5 Georgia vs Florida Game Thread (ABC, 3:30 EDT)

Ya but giving them field position that close

It doesn’t matter though. Georgia just needs 2 first downs when they took over to end the game. Doing it in Florida’s territory vs deep in their own territory doesn’t really matter. Having an extra down to attempt a first down (Florida’s 4th down play) worth more than playing for field position

SEC really needs to adopt the mic’d
Up reviews that the ACC is doing.

There’s an obvious reason why they don’t lol. I’ve always knew refs sucked in this conference but I never believed conspiracy theory stuff until this season. Never seen a team just flat out win 2 games because the replay officials don’t see what anyone with working eyes can see. Like suuuure

This is what I imagine the ref audio sounds like when they get on the horn with Hoover to review a play:

No one can honestly deny currptness in this conference anymore. Good grief lol
If it does not touch the ground it is a catch. Need video evidence it did! That one angle looked pretty clear.

Probably better for us if GA wins in the long run and hopefully kicks FLA in the gut UNDER THE CIRCUMSTANCES, but looked like a catch to me,

These SEC games among the teams that recruit well / use the portal well . . . Are decided (many times) by 4-5 plays. If a handful of those involve the officials . . . No one can convince me they don’t protect certain teams.
It's crazy how often games come down to these "1 plays " or inches.

Whatever, I grew up watching UF and TN get all the calls. Yes, they were obviously the better teams, but it was still BS. I will admit that UF just got screwed, but I’m not sorry about it. Well, I’m a bit sorry bc I understand how it feels, but that’s college football, and it always has been.
