#9 Vanderbilt Commodores @ #20 Texas Longhorns (SEC on abc) Noon

I missed them playing UGA somehow. However, the point stands, a 10-2 TX would be in. Maybe the SEC gave them their flowers last year and now it’s someone else’s turn.
They’d likely be playing in Atlanta if they win out. Because Alabama would be 8-0 and then 3 teams at 7-1.

Now we need Texas to lose another and we need to defeat Vandy. If we win out, we’re in with zero doubts.

The quality of wins don’t matter. We have beaten the team we are supposed to and played close games against the teams that beat us.

We will have quality wins down the stretch.
You are wrong. The committee has said last year that quality wins means something.

Did you just say the committee last year as in the committee this year hasn’t said anything? Did I hear that right? The committee last year which had 6 members who aren’t on the committee this year matters?

Bless your heart.

So you don’t think quality wins matter? No, bless your heart.

You said the committee last year as if they have any weight this year considering the committee has 50% of it being first year members. Pretty wild to invoke last years committee to make an argument when the committee this year different.

They can say whatever they want but their rankings are what mattered. Quality wins only meant something when they needed them to justify rankings and ignored when they were inconvenient.

Indiana played 2 teams with winning records, Michigan and OSU losing 1 and winning 1. Their only "quality win" was over a 7-5 Michigan. Clearly schedule and wins meant nothing when it came to IU

I didn’t say anything about a committee last year. I think it’s obvious that any committee will weigh quality wins though.

Well losses matter too.

Maybe they do. Maybe they value schedule. Maybe they value survive and advance. The notion that last year’s committee has any weight or relevance to this year is nonsense regardless.

I’m not even sure what you’re trying to argue. Any committee will weigh all of those things. They may not do it to your liking but they will regardless.

Our defense also is among the best at forcing turnovers and takeaways. Our defense only needs to make a few stops and our offense will make games out of reach.
Let's see if that trend holds true tonight. I suspect it won't.

Miami loosing is great for the SEC…hopefully a two loss Miami is behind a two loss Tennessee.

This year it’s looking like the SEC and Big 10 flip flop…we’ll get 4 teams in and they’ll get 3 in terms of the sure things (provided TAMU, Bama, Georgia and Ole Miss don’t stumble)…then we’ll have the Big 12 and ACC champs and the highest ranked group of 6…

so it all comes down to those last two slots and our chances of getting a 5th team in get better the more ACC teams get eliminated…I hate to pull for Georgia but we may need them to beat Tech badly and then have Virginia beat Tech in the ACC game…that might keep the ACC to a single team…

So it could be ND and Tennessee getting the last two slots…but there will be an extreme amount of pushback about having 5 teams from one conference
Hate to be that guy, but it's a pet peev of mine. It's losing not loosing.

You are the idiot who said we make a few stops and we will blow out everyone. How’s that working out for us tonight?

I said our offense just had to play to their average. Did you see our offense play to their average? Because I surely do not.
