Not many people remember Clinton ushering in the concept of work combined with federal welfare. His idea was it would help people break the 'cycle of dependency' snare. Business who employ people who also receive handouts are doing what Clinton and others agreed was a better plan.

We are discussing SNAP. Most of the SNAP recipients at WMT arent those working 40+ hrs with another working spouse.

It's those working sub 35 hrs a week usually by their own choice (for govt benefit purposes whether its SNAP or EITC).

And yes, Ill stand by that. Working less than 35 hrs a week at WMT isnt a career....
