It’s not lunacy nor clownish. We have no good wins this season, and Oklahoma (who will likely have 3-4 losses by season’s end) would be our best win. A top-10 win over Vandy would have helped that. Texas winning and Vandy losing weakens our SOS and strengthens others.

OU and Vandy will finish the season in the Top 25. You are a clown if you think a team losing in a blowout who is in ranked ahead of us is bad thing when coupled with us winning against a Top 20 team.

Yall are some miserable mf if yall think Vandy losing today in blowout isn’t helpful

And I can assure you, a win over a 9-2 Vandy in the final week of the season will be a better win than over an OU team that finishes 8-4

You are letting foolish hate get in the ways of facts.

Teams on our schedule doing better makes our SOS better. It benefits us to have our remaining opponents win and NOT the teams NOT on our schedule. Texas winning negatively affects us in multiple ways.

Vandy losing now doesn’t help us at all. The most beneficial outcome would have been we give them their 2nd loss and move ahead of them in the CFP race at the end of the season, NOT Texas!

Some of y’all are just plain stupid—cheering for the worse outcome for the Vols just because you hate Vandy.

But, it’s moot anyway, we aren’t getting in the CFP at 10-2 unless Ole Miss loses again.

Yes. Tennessee should be the first 2 loss team in the SEC after today. Them getting knocked behind us is the first priority.

With them at 2 losses after today, we want them to be 9-2 when we play them. If we are near the 10-12 playoff line when the final week rolls around, having a 9-2 Vandy likely ranked in the top 15-18 range will send us into the playoff with ease with a victory.

If Vandy is at 9-2 when we play, they’ll be a top 15-18 ranked team. If we are 9-2 with a win over OU and at the Swamp, we will be ranked inside the the top 12 most likely. Beating a top 15-18 ranked team is not gonna keep us idle. I’m sorry you can’t understand this.

I just switched over in time to see them running the pony around the field Ralphie style. It’s kinda funny, but probably much safer for the handlers than Ralphie or Bevo.

Maybe that’s what Texas should do, get a little calf, tape on some longhorns, and run him around the stadium!😂

Vandy will drop below Tennessee and Texas to the 7th line we occupy. Texas will move up to the 5th spot. Once again, Vandy losing doesn’t hurt us. Texas has to play Kirby and Big Elko

It doesn’t matter in regards to the playoff. There is no world where a 9-2 Tennessee ranked ahead of a 9-2 Vandy is on the bubble of a playoff bid.

If Vandy was 10-1 when we play them, we’d have to win to knock them out and hope we get in. Vandy at 9-2 means they are out and have to beat us to get in.

Apparently you are failing to realize that Vandy dropping below us after today in the Tennessee wins out scenario does NOT somehow put us in worse shape.

All today is doing is putting Tennessee at the 5th spot in the SEC (Texas won’t beat UGA and A&M).

9-2 Vandy vs 9-2 Tennessee means Tennessee stays in the playoff with a win while Vandy needs to win to have a chance.

Math is not strong area for you.
