The Official Tennessee Titans thread IV

You need a stud in the middle of the d-line or you can't stop the run or get a decent pass rush because your DE are getting handled by double teams. DT is one of the most important players on defense, but so overlooked. Ask Dallas.
100% agree........if you have others around him. Myles Garrett hasn't helped Cleveland become a "contender"
I hate it......but if I can get a first round pick for him.......he's gone.

1st round pick? I would be tempted to take it. Anything less isn't worth it. This team needs top tier talent desperately. This next FA class is super mid. If wer're gonna improve this team, it's gonna have to be in the draft.

Trade out of our first and we could potentially have 4 picks in the top 50. Along with an extra first rounder and more the following year.

What do you all think about the Titans potentially shopping around Sweat? Has to behind the scenes things going on. Thought he was going to be a good player.
I wouldn’t be a fan of trading him whatsoever. He’s a second year player and has shown a lot of growth. I’m all for loading up on picks, but we also don’t need to just sell the whole farm, either.

Similar to our discussion on Simmons, it all depends on what would be offered for Sweat. Personally, I don't think he commands a price above fair market. But if offered something great Titans have to take it.

We are in a position analogous to one of us finding ourselves in financial straits. I don't wanna sell my dad's Shelby cobra (fictional scenario) I inherited but desperate times call fir desperate measures.

Desperate times are conifers?
