The only thing that would get more ratings is if Yamamoto pitched for the Yankees and he and Ohtani were set to start against each other. As much as I love baseball, I won’t be watching while the Tennessee game is on. If the Braves were in it I would be 100% watching but Tennessee athletics trumps even a Game 7 for me otherwise. With that said, Go Jays!Am very interested in the ratings for game 7 of the World Series. A Canadian team hasn't won it all in MLB or NHL since 1993. Would assume most of Canada is rooting for the Blue Jays because of that. Also quite a few of really good and elite Japanese players on the Dodgers. Then Dodger hate, wanting to see the underdog win. Then some US viewers just wanting a US team to win. Recipe for 45 plus million between the US, Canada, and Japan. First game was 32 million between the 3. That's a lot of eyes on MLB for once. Not a great slate for college football either. Although up against UT/Oklahoma. UT game will be less than usual because of a Game 7.
Look at the offenses Oklahoma has had to play and you will see why their defensive stats are ranked so highly. Ole Miss exposed them for 431 yards and threat was the first legit offense they’ve played. They also play Alabama and Missouri after us so they will start to regress to the mean.Polar opposites. Will be interesting.

Ohtani may pitch 2 or 3 innings... You act like he is going to pitch a complete game... Glasnow threw 3 pitches last night, he will be ready to go 3 or 4 innings and Snell will be available.. saying that every who scores first probably wins tonight...Ohtani going to starting on 3 days rest. He has only made one other start on 3 days rest and that was in 2023, the same year he had his second UCL surgery. Dodgers are playing with this man’s career trotting him out to pitch on short rest like that.
2 or 3 innings is all it takes for a catastrophic re-injury of that ligament. He’s already had two surgeries. I don’t want him to get injured but if he does then it’s 100% on your know-it-all manager.Ohtani may pitch 2 or 3 innings... You act like he is going to pitch a complete game... I said the NBA don't want no part of Skinny Luka.....Luka drops his third consecutive 40 point game to start his season after coming back from a short stint on the injured list. He and Wilt Chamberlain are the only two players to start a season scoring 40+ points in their first three games. Wilt had a streak of 7 straight in 1962-63 and 5 straight in 1961-62. Luka also joins Wilt and MJ in 1986-87 as the only players to score 125+ points over their first three games to start a season. He is the first Laker to average at least 45ppg over any three game span since Kobe in 2007. LeBum can sit the rest of the season for all I care. Let Luka cook.
