'26 UT WR Salesi Moa (Tennessee commit)

Those are all true. I want to see what happens next year when he’s not coaching a 25 year old QB. He may coach a 4K passer next year. But I want to see it. True or not he’s a victim of the perception that Heupel doesn’t make much effort to search for coaching talent. I’m more than willing for him to prove it.

The best QB we’ve had here didn’t pass for 4k. Joey most likely won’t this year.

A true Fr or RS Fr next year for sure isn’t going to. Might want to adjust those expectations for what success looks like a bit.

Yall he went to see his brother play. He ain’t going to mich st. He takes a visit elsewhere ok form your worry circle, but not over that lol

We haven’t seen any OC at UT under Heupel succeed without a 24-25 year old QB.

Of course, there’s only been 1 season to judge by. Other than 2024, we had an old starting QB every season under Heupel, including both of Golesh’s seasons.

I didn’t realize we had never had. 4K passer. Joe Burrow in 2019 has tilted my mathematical reality.

If he is besties with Heupel, he is safe forever. Heupel takes ZERO proactive actions WRT his staff. Banks, Halzle, Elarbee, etc? All besties and all absolutely safe, no matter what. Heupel is gonna ride this train as long as he can, but he isn't going to do anything that requires proactivity.

JMHO.
I'm glad Heupel didn't listen to the fans on Halzle and Elarbee considering Halzle is running the #2 scoring offense in the country and the OL is playing better than any we've seen at Tennessee in close to 20 years. Tennessee fans just like a witch hunt.

To be fair, Elarbee changed what people wanted him to with that being getting high level pay from players he brought in and developed (will count Heard here too). They also actually paid and made sure they were getting some actual talent with the portal spots w/ Moe (was NFL prospect at Arizona) and Pendleton (solid interior guy who can play all 3 interior spots and got ND OL development)...

These facts are unimportant to the mouthbreathers. They decided last year that HyPul shOulDA Fahrd THem CoaCHeS. Doesn't matter that those coaches proved Heupel correct when he chose to keep them.

We'e not dealing with people who understand problem solving, resource management, or coaching sports on a high level.
