I was really hoping this new staff could start reeling in in state kids…. Of course we don’t need every single of them(like Kellie was doing) but Lauren and Haylen both not interested in stings a bit much. Dang

This new staff and your beliefs are two separate things. As long as they are reeling in recruits on the level of the photos below… nobody cares where the players are born and raised. And it’s nothing to it. Doesn’t sting or mean anything actually let them go to a school they believe is for them. There’s footage of 2027 Hassell vs 2026 Edwards on YouTube.

Chastain’s ranking has fallen significantly since she decommitted from the Lady Vols.

I was really hoping to land Ayers. I know not everyone fits this style but a home kid ranked that high with her game would have been a great get. On to the next ones for sure and we are in good hands but I hope IF it makes sense (and seemingly this one could have) the top kids start staying home again.

Good luck young lady! Just not at uconn , vandy, or Kentucky lol

Loving Vols sports is not a fixed pie. I get not liking a sport, but it's actually a little strange to be jealous of other ones at the university. I don't think you get more because another one gets less NIL. There is a set market for each sport.

The comment was a on going joke between myself and a couple of others posting.. good grief this fan base is the most high strung touchy people I've ever dealt with.. btw. This is saying a lot, I'm a diehard Cowboys fan and I'm on their fan board and they aren't as touchy as this fan base and they haven't won **** in 30 years...

Is the above recruit from Oak Grove, Kentucky?

What is the deal with these nearby players?

I know off topic here, but since we discussed it here I am commenting in this thread. Schedule is out for track at the LA Games, and it looks like there is very little chance that Syd can compete for the double based on the schedule. What a shame that they could not schedule this to work for her, the fans, and the sport. Hoping they can somehow tweak it.

I don’t know who (we) is but Tennessee under Coach Caldwell in 20 months is dominate recruiting high school and the transfer portal.
That’s a fact.

I know and i’m sick! you have one of the most recognizable athletes on the world stage anyone and they don’t take advantage of it! By they I mean the track and field federation. THEN they do something as put the women’s 100 ALL on 1 day? That’s premiere event in the olympics… Just dumb the sport sabotages itself continually.

Put the TN guard at UConn on our roster and we are different in every way.
