Surprised nobody has commented on Felix making a couple of shots that weren’t put backs or pick & roll dunks. He flubs those shots last year but made them look easy against Duke. Along with his 3 pointer and strong rebounding, it appears he’s stepped up his game!

Agreed, he had a couple where he took a few steps toward the basket and just rolled them in, really excited to keep seeing that. Cade also had a reverse fadeaway from close to the basket!

Def would be significant to go along with what Estrella is going to bring...my son & I called this out while watching the game.

We probably have a top 2 or 3 inside rotation developing in his system. Barnes adapts quite well to the talent he brings in to the program. We're much stronger in the paint than we have been in years past in regards to talent and depth. We've basically went from a perimeter heavy rotation to an inside heavy program in short order

I got a real kick out of Barnes the other day in the middle of his in-game first half interview. "Look, he does that everyday in practice", talking about Estrella's moving screen. He didn't play the rest of the game and he is easily one of our best inside offensive threats. Love it

You could see it on Estrella's face as he sat on the bench. He was displeased. But hopefully it'll keep him from doing it in a game that counts

Yep. He must prove it in practice to Barnes. It's likely that he'll do it to garner a permanent spot in the regular 7-8 man rotation

We have to find a way to get baskets when we struggle behind the arc. The Houston game was a disaster, though Houston’s D has something to do with that - same with loss to FL.

Just hope someone can step up and be a Bonafide scoring threat from
The perimeter…. And who will emerge to be the man to get us a bucket when we absolutely have to have one down the stretch . I think jakobi Gillespie can shoot close to 40 percent from perimeter when he gets completely settled in.

Ament will be the go to option when we have to score. He already has shown the ability to get a good shot whenever he tries. Now he needs to show the ability to make those good shots at a high percentage.

Between Ament & JG, there’s your majority of 3 point shot attempts.

Barnes was also none to happy with his illegal screen and let Jimmy Hyperbole know about it during his awkward fireside chat midgame on the bench.

Seems like Barnes is handling Estrella with kid gloves right now health wise. He already had foot surgery, ankle injury, and now wearing shoulder brace.

I'm hopeful Burg learns defense system and Barnes has him closing over Boswell.
