Just like to tell you all how much I hate our government. I had to draw some loot from my 401k just to get by right now...and had to pay a 30% penalty on every dollar in taxes. To the same government that has stolen hundreds of thousands of dollars from me for Social Security which i will almost certainly never draw a penny from...and certainly will never come close to even halfway getting it back in checks. I absolutely abhor the blood sucking leeches that are our government. This isnt a political post. Its not about the parties or people. Its about the stinking dirty thieves constantly robbing us blind and my hate for them. The end.

The sooner that every individual realizes that the government is not your friend regardless of party affiliation the better off we’ll all be. You can call that an opinion if you like, but it’s a fact from where I’m sitting.

Was Charlotte declared a disaster area from Helene? You might be able to get out of 10% of the 30%....

Edit- Nevermind. Has to be taken within 180 days of declaration.

Well, I should have looked it up. Turns out “Sodom on the Catawba” was so designated, largely due to the aforesaid river (Catawba) flooding.

Silly, silly. Living nearby, I can affirm that a disaster declaration had to be political; Mecklenburg Co. didn’t suffer nearly as much as the mountain counties.
