So lots of players will be jumping in the portal after this season with all the coaching changes (hope we have some assistant coach changes ourselves), so no excuse not to grab some elite talent on D in the secondary and at LB/DT... We've gotten two good ones with McCoy and Hood (will need to replace both), so keep 'em coming...

In before "we won't overpay" BS. We have one of the highest football budgets in the country and no have a monster Adidas contract, no excuses...

We're investing in recruiting this cycle at a level we haven't to date. I bet that means good things for the portal. But I think most fans forget just how much success we've had identifying studs in the portal who aren't necessarily the highest-ranked and we can get at a good price. Just because we have a lot of money to spend, doesn't mean there isn't a budget.

He use to get beat up, because he maintained that Iron Eagle was far superior to Top Gun. He hates Tom Cruise to this day, because Maverick is the cultural icon, and not Doug Masters. Whenever Lou Gossett Jr died, he stayed in bed for over a week. Between Iron Eagle, Firewalker, and An Officer And A Gentleman, my brother was broken up.

The Vols have to win this weekend, or this weekend will be as bad as 2 weeks ago.

I'm a fan of Iron Eagle (and Lou Gossett Jr.), but that's a little excessive.

It came out in 1988, I was 4 years old at the time. Didn’t think a spoiler warning was still needed, but my fault if I ruined the surprise.

My thoughts on Jermod McCoy. I believe he will attempt to play post bye week and here's why. He will give it a chance to see how it feels. If he can play well the balance of the season it will leave no doubt to scouts that he is ready and keep 1st round money. If he struggles, might be wise to come back one more year. I thought it was a pipe dream he would play this year but now I feel otherwise.

Before this mess, I thought LSU had a solid chance of hiring LK. Don't think it now. Man! They've handled this in one of the worst ways possible, PR wise.

I understand the governor stepping in because LSU has no president. Hell, I even understand not wanting the AD to make the next hire, and maybe even firing him (the dude is responsible for almost $130 million in payouts, and that's just to head coaches...that's not counting the price tag on fired HC assistants, and the hiring of a whole new staff...OBSCENE money!!!); but, the way it's playing out in the media, and the way ALL is handling it, and what they're saying...what a train wreck.

I love it. I hope they get lost and wander forever.
