I know I’m gonna get told to “stop being the language police”, but here goes anyway.

I know most don’t understand it, or understand why, but I try to not take in foul language, try to avoid images that make my mind go places it shouldn’t, try to keep my intake pure, so what comes out of my heart is pure also.

I’ve stopped listening to sports talk because they feel the need to cuss. I’m close to leaving volnation because of it. Even when it’s “hidden” by ***** everyone still knows the intent, and as such I read those words I try to avoid in my head.

I’m sincerely and humbly asking if we could please at least not take the Lord’s name in vain on here???

No one of consequence (that I saw). And I do not know what Basilio did/didn’t have to say.

What I did see, from multiple sources of import (SF, LWS, Hubbs) was the mention that there were “some” allegedly “in his camp” that were encouraging him to sit for the draft.

None of the above in any way implies:
- McCoy doesn’t want to play (I believe he does)
- Medical has cleared him to play (they haven’t)
- McCoy is listening to those voices (I hope he’s not)

But it’s currently en vogue to take any news of McCoy practicing and throw out some variation of - “where are the people that said McCoy was ‘holding out’”?

Well, they’re not here. They never were.
McCoy was never “holding out” - that was always an incoherent narrative, completely detached from logic and reality.

Bro been practicing (just not full drills) and it ain't meant chit on a Saturday. Doesn't this week either. Bottom line is he's 10 months removed from an ACL tear with a hell of a lot more to lose than gain. He ain't coming back till that ACL is good and ready. Maybe that is after the bye. Who knows.

I agree. This is what I would do if I was an AD. Make it so results based that if you balked i'd already know you aren't the guy. If i had to hire some hungry ass OC due to agents then fine. Make the incentives so good no one complains. 2 million for every playoff win. Hell 15M for a title. Who wouldn't agree to that if they truly valued winning?

Probably horrible lol I forgot there are 4 or 5 films in the series. The main kid in part 1 dies in the beginning of part 2.

I was 9 years old whenever Iron Eagle came out, my brother was 15. We watched it together; and, still to this day, it's one of the best days of my life. I remember it vividly, spending time with my older brother. Both of us LOVED it!!! It was awesome!

Whenever the sequel came out 2 years later, we planned on going and watching it together in the theater, but something came up and we never got to. Throughout these past 37 years, we've talked about it multiple times, saying we were going to sit down together and finally watch the second one...but, we never have.

He's coming to my house this weekend. I havent seen him in 10 years, almost. We were going to watch it tomorrow night. Finally, after almost 40 years.

But, now you've ruined it, hunter! Doug Masters dies at the beginning?? I've waited for almost 4 decades, and now it's ruined...and, gone. My brother is devastated. He use to get beat up, because he maintained that Iron Eagle was far superior to Top Gun. He hates Tom Cruise to this day, because Maverick is the cultural icon, and not Doug Masters. Whenever Lou Gossett Jr died, he stayed in bed for over a week. Between Iron Eagle, Firewalker, and An Officer And A Gentleman, my brother was broken up.

The Vols have to win this weekend, or this weekend will be as bad as 2 weeks ago.
