Wherever Drink goes, it better be a package deal with Kirby Moore, because Drink's seat was starting to get warm before he got there. Now Drink is a genius and a hot candidate.

I have a feeling Summerall from Tulane maybe the hidden gem in this group. Dont think Jr Beamer will leave USC voluntarily. Can't stand Drinks a lot but based on what he has done at Mizzou could be a HR hire for the Gators. Can't see UK going with a retread, they would love Summeral but he will have more attractive offers. Would he pass them up for his alma mater?

Just goes to show how well PSU did not think thru that firing. Fire Franklin to chase Rhule? FRanklin rarely loses a game he is not supposed to at PSU, but he punted 2 this year and got canned. It was either a knee jerk firing, OR when something was said to him in the office that Sunday morning after dropping the 50/50 game for the 3rd in a row he said something back to the boss that could not be accepted.

Franklin being a first rate a-hole of epic proportions probably factored in to being fired.

They can likely find someone less abrasive and cheaper to beat up the tomato cans on a typical PSU schedule and get blown out by the few good teams like Oregon or OSU.

So who's this UTSA coach that thrashed Tulane. Is he in the mix of names being floated anywhere? Isn't he doing really good at UTSA??

Jeff Traylor. He was a name thrown around on that crazy 2021-22 carousel but signed a long-term deal to stay at UTSA. Since he signed that deal, he had another really good year in 2022 but has come more back to earth after they moved to the American (9-4, 7-6, 4-4 the last 2+ seasons).
