I’d appreciate it@Orangeslice13, that's enough agreeing with you and your cheap ass...
I may have to make an appearance in game thread after all...
It’s not satire. He’s a self proclaimed leftist that spends time trolling vol twitter for being dumb, racist, homophobic, ect. Stupid and bad attempt at satire, he’s not back the blue
There's a guy I follow, The Appalachian Storyteller. There are some fascinating stories wrt to the history of Appalachia, particularly the fate of outside law enforcement. The organized crime, corruption and violence of Appalachia would make the five mafia families of New York fearful. From early settlements to well into the 1930's or so, you better had known what you were doing going into some these parts. Get caught in the wrong place or come up against the wrong type, you were in some serious trouble. A lot more violent family feuds than just the Hatfield and McCoys, too. My grandparents were from Cocke County and they had some stories. Found out my grand dad was always in church on Sundays as a young man, and then helping his dad and older brothers run some moonshine during the week. His older brother chopped two of his fingers off with an axe because he was resting his hand on a log his brother wanted to split. His brother decided he wouldn't wait until my grand dad was done taking his break. These people....were something. It’s not satire.
The song is literally about an actual event of history where revenuers disappeared and were never heard from again. So his satire is actual history and it’s looks exactly like his normal stupidity.
Now if we’re saying the guy is a joke himself….id believe that
Is there documentation of that?Again, it's not satire, this kid hates Tennessee fans and "certain" people in general, he was raised by a lefty activist lawyer in Morristown and is major antifa...He was burning the American flag and threatening officers a few weeks prior...His mom used connections to get him a special scholarship and they are grooming him to be the "next white military pseudo country boy shadow candidate" congress as a Dem...
It was a very poor attempt at satire
Retaining “Rocky Top,” which openly celebrates violent resistance to the point of killing federal officers over trivial matters such as taxes, only serves to further justify the actions of those resisting federal officers who are detaining U.S. citizens, deporting lawful residents, and occupying cities within the United States, all much greater deprivations of rights than “revenuers” seeking tax payments as described in the song.
I can see how someone enamored with left wing tyranny would think this.An opinion writer for Knox News, which is owned by the parent company of USA Today, penned a columncalling for the the University of Tennessee-Knoxville to retire Rocky Top.” The writer suggested the school’s fight song encouraged violence against law enforcement.
“The University of Tennessee, as a public institution and an arm of the state government, should not advocate or celebrate violence against law enforcement. This seems like a basic statement, yet its execution may prove controversial,” wrote Kirk Wolff.
First of all - “Rocky Top” does not promote violence. It basically means “stay out” of our Hills! Smokey Mountains; Smokey Dog — We are here to defend our territory - As all sports teams would…..
— Yes, Davy Crockett has a rifle.
So does the West VA Mountaineer; And UMASS Minute-men.
The OK State Cowboy has pistols. (So does New Mexico State, UNLV, & Wyoming).
Texas Tech has a “Guns-Up” sign.
The Florida State Seminole has a spear.
The USC Trojan has a sword. — So does the Army & Central Florida “Knights”.
The Idaho Vandal has some kind of “club”.
And almost every “animal” mascot has teeth!….
Even “Snoopy” shot down the Red Baron in a plane!
So, where are you gonna stop?……
This guy is just an idiot trying to stir up controversy & make a name for himself!
