I learned something new tonight and kinda wanted to get the backstory.

Bobby Petrinos kid is the OC for Missouri St where Bobby Petrino was HC until two years ago when he bolted to go back to OC at Arky

Just wondered if the guy was on staff under Bobby at the school and why Daddy didn't bring him along to Arky.

He was there under Petrino as a nepo hire. I don't know why he didn't go with Bobby and nothing about him as a coach. I did find this about another of Petrino's sons while digging though. https://www.courier-journal.com/sto...v113228b0036xxd003665&gca-ft=169&gca-ds=sophi

Yeah, I had no clue his kid was a coach also.

Just seems weird to me that the HC Missouri St hired after Petrino left them high and dry chose to keep the kid on staff. Also apparently elevate him.

Just seems really odd to me and I didn't find much about the situation in my searches either.

Re-the other son. Guess there is a Petrino out there who you don't have to worry about a motorcycle ride with a coed

1987 MO state alum on here. We’ve always been told Nick is biding his time here and gaining experience until he gets the call up to the big leagues with dad. Dad went to A&M from MO State first. Then Arkansas. Bobby just used us to get back into the coaching rotation in D1.

We are now in CUSA as D1 and Nick may have wanted the “OC at a D1 school” on his resume and stuck around.

They hired the existing defensive coordinator. It wasn’t that big of a deal

I knew somebody here would be in the loop ha ha.

Great thing about this fan base is that there are so dang many of us that you can always find another fan with the answers you need lol.
