A rare in-season Saturday trade: the Ravens are sending former Pro-Bowl CB Jaire Alexander and a 2027 seventh-round pick to the Eagles in exchange for a 2026 sixth-round pick, per sources.I figured the Eagles would try to add another corner before the deadline. CB #2 has been a problem this year.
Yes. Late slide. The concussion occurred when he hit his head on the ground.Would the NFL be better off if they got rid of the slide? QBs slide and leave themselves vulnerable because they think they won’t be hit. Sometimes defenders hit them late and sometimes qbs wait too late for defenders to back off. Last nights hit on Stroud was one of those I think. He waited too late. The refs threw a flag initially but waived it off.
In either scenario someone is leaving themselves vulnerable just because they think they’re safe. I wonder if the NFL has looked at injuries/consussions that take place on slides vs non slides. Like would players be more likely to protect themselves and have less chance of getting injured if it was understood there are no free slides. Don’t want to get hit? Run out of bounds.
Russillo is back and talking about the Broncos 6-game winning streak. Says point differential is one of the lowest ever for a 6-win streak. He points out how good every unit is. The weapons aren't elite, but they're good. Basically every other unit is at least great (OL, DL, DBs), and then there's Nix...
Bo Nix is one of those guys who we won't have any idea how good he actually is until his 5th year.
