As good as anybodys I guess. And possible effect on our roster improvements.

LSU ... Joe Brady ... No impact..

Florida..Eli Drink A Fifth ... Raid Missouri..Call that young QB

PSU ... Matt Rhule ... He's got a great young roster ... Potentially a playoff team next year at Nebraska ...

FSU: James Franklin ... No impact on portal ...

Auburn: Summeral from Tulane ...

Click to Advent Electric!
Arkansas: Golesh or Matt Campbell

Michigan State: Matt Campbell Iowa St

Baylor: Eric Morris Texas State ... Will take his great QB with him..

Va Tech: Shane Beamer ... Restart clock ... Vols could hit up SC

South Carolina: Fran Brown ... Any players at the Cuse

Kentucky ... Dan Mullen ... Is he desperate? He wouldn't take Arky last time around.

MC State: Ryan Silverfield from Memphis ...

I have a feeling Summerall from Tulane maybe the hidden gem in this group. Dont think Jr Beamer will leave USC voluntarily. Can't stand Drinks a lot but based on what he has done at Mizzou could be a HR hire for the Gators. Can't see UK going with a retread, they would love Summeral but he will have more attractive offers. Would he pass them up for his alma mater?

I don’t see it happening, but I really don’t want Mullen being at UK. That game would instantly become much more difficult.
It would be a good hire for UK if they can land him. Mullen doesn't like to recruit either, so it is probably a match made in heaven.

Baylor? I don't think they will fire Aranda right now. Maybe if they finish 6-6 or worse. But they've been very competitive all year and Sawyer Brown is leading the nation in passing. I think they'll force him to make staff changes, but he'll get another year.

I think Arky goes all in on Rhett Lashlee to bring him home.

UF I think ends up with Jedd Fisch, unless they go the NFL route with someone like Kliff Kingsbury. James Franklin is a possibility.

LSU probably ends up with Kiffin, imo. I would not count out Lanning or Lea if Kiffin decides to stay. I don't see them going the NFL route, but I suppose it's possible.

Brian Kelly to Michigan St seems like a really good fit for both sides. I could also see Kelly at Virginia Tech or Virginia if Tony Elliot gets poached.

I do like James Franklin at FSU.

He's still got to get the players there. That's always been the problem at UK.
That’s true, but if UK decides to invest a good amount of NIL $ , that could help DM overcome his lack of recruiting motivation. I think Mullen is a very good offensive mind and play caller.

Agree with you. I’d really hate to see that hire, even more than Sumrall. I absolutely think he’d thrive at a job like that, or even an ACC program like Virginia Tech or UNC….. the Miss State level programs are what he’s made for.

If UNC fired Belichick right now and hired Mullen they’d be in the CFP in 2 seasons. They should’ve hired Sumrall last season when that’s who people in the UNC AD wanted. I think if Mullen ends up in the right job in the ACC or Big 12 he would have them in the CFP pretty quick. I don’t think he can do that at a UK given the competitiveness of the SEC and the school’s financial backing for bball, but he could at UNC, NC State, VT, Baylor, Arizona State, Colorado, maybe a South Carolina, definitely at an FSU or Auburn. I know I may be higher on Mullen than some and some Gator fans probably have some reservations about the way things ended up, but I think he’d be a good hire for a lot of spots.

More crap pulled from Tony's butt.

Exactly WHEN did Mullen turn down Arky their last search? Pittman was hired in late 2019. Mullen was hired at Florida in late 2017 and was still employed when Pittman was hired

NO coach is going to leave Florida for Arkansas.

Sorry, but one small thing invalidates the entire theory.

I also notice he doesn't mention who is going to take all the jobs vacated lol.

I still think someone is going to be able to get Chris Petersen out of retirement. Drink to Florida makes the most sense to me on this list (though Gators fans already hate the possibility).

Golesh will be a tough out wherever he goes, but I think he can do better than Arkansas. He would do well there, but I see him at a more high profile program. Don’t be surprised if it’s FSU.
