@LWSVOL any smoke out there with Huep and other job openings?
If he goes, he goes. As long as it's before Kiffin signs somewhere else. Then again if White couldn't coexist with Vitello, there's zero chance he's going to hire Kiffin. Pipe dream thinking he could return to UT as long as White is the AD.

As a Physical Therapist, I feel like it is my duty to point at that turf toe sucks. It can be debilitating. It’s not a stubbed toe or an ingrown toenail.

They honestly need to rename it.

If Arion has really had turf toe on one foot all year, I’m gobsmacked he has played as well as he has.
As a doctor, I feel the need to toe the line with other medical posters here. But I don't want to put my foot in my mouth and I don't want to step on others, so I'll keep my words to myself and not play the heel.

Kiffin burned too many bridges to ever be welcomed back and it has nothing to do with DW.

It's so rare for a college qb to throw a screen beyond the LOS that it's unlikely playing press coverage is considered an advantage for the reason you mentioned. And a WR with his hands extended to block is considered blocking, it doesn't matter if the DB runs into him. If the WR is trying to run a route, that's a different story.

I guarantee you nfl scouts are dinging Joey for that bad habit, because nfl OL have almost no grace on being downfield on passes beyond the LOS. All the angst and ire toward the officials really should be directed toward Joey for continuing to throw that pass poorly. That's a terrible habit he needs to fix.

That Bama pass especially was WAY too far downfield. The WR is setting up behind the LOS, so if Joey misses, the WR has to move downfield, making it look like the pass is caught even farther beyond the LOS than it is.
Don't disagree with some of that, but I do toward the end. There are times we ask our QB to throw that screen right down the line. Hooker and Milton did it as well, and we have been called for it. I recall Heupel objecting previously, too. JA hasn't been the only one.

I have paid some attention to a few other games, and most of the ones I saw were receivers lined up well back in the backfield although one game may have had a receiver very close beyond the LOS.

In the Alabama play, Brazzell was on the LOS. You can see that he sets for the catch, and his body straddles the black line (which I know is unofficial but still a good guide). He was not in the backfield at all. Brazzell pushes off his back foot as he is receiving the ball, which is ahead (agree with that) of the LOS, but Brazzell also starts his forward motion upfield. I just don't believe it's egregious enough to call it.

The first one in the UK game was at least a half yard ahead- very similar to Brazzell's without the other WR engaging yet.

I'm not saying I want him moved, because I don't, and everyone knows we need him right where he's at, but...I would LOVE!!! to see Jadon Perlotte at S.

What is the obsession with Kiffin still? Him and Heupel are literally the same coach from a results standpoint and offense standpoint

in other words, a podiatric pile of sheets.

What exactly is turf toe? Is it a ligament strain? Given our extensive VN lexicon and the broad community use of it, I think we can officially adopt a new name of your choosing for the condition.

Correct. Players often miss many weeks with turf toe injuries.

Any chance of McCoy this weekend?

he did "something" more than he has done since surgery. Spent some time in team period but not sure what all he did. I would guess what he does tomorrow may depend on how knee responds to today's activity. I would be surprised if he was able to play Saturday but maybe??? He will not be close to 100% if he is able to play this year so hope expectations by fans are not too great.
