We have seen this now multiple times. UF just did it with Billy Napier. I have never understood it. How can you negotiate a buyout? Why would any coach agree to it? Unless I could show mathematically that I would come out financially better by altering the amounts or terms/structure of the payout, there’s no way I would agree to be paid less.

My guess would be so he could coach again and still be paid something from LSU

it is pretty wild that we are experiencing one of the best WR units in the history of our program this year (could end up the best) and it was this board's #1 worry going into the season

Also wild we thought defense would be our strength even without McCoy.

Don't know about Nawlins but there was an upscale steak house in Kansas that had to close because one of their employees was pi$$in' in food and rubbing food on his junk. He got caught because he was filming his deeds and posting it online.

Dude just got 11 years in prison for his deeds. Makes you want to eat out more often, doesn't it

What really annoys me, Nico got a lot of Heisman buzz last season...it pretty much didn't stop until Georgia game. And if you look at what his numbers were through the first 8 weeks...

Why was Nico getting the hype from outside media while doing nothing, but Joey who is balling isn't getting any?

Because they have the platform-----it's called fake news and it's a real thing

Only problem is that we have no room to screw up. If you take that risk and lose, you are out of the playoffs. If we only had one loss, then the risk would be worth the payoff.

Even if we somehow make it to the playoffs, we don't have the depth to get through that gauntlet. It'll just be a really good payday. That's just the way it is. We'll get there some day with solid depth, but the portal has to be a big part of the journey.

Joey threw for more on one play than McElroy did that entire game.

5* top rated high school QBs get the hype until they un-earn it.

Everyone else gets none until they earn it.

If Joey keeps playing great and wins out, he will be in NY. And if that happens he will take that spot from Pavia. This might sound crazy and I don’t think it will happen but it’s good for us to have Vandy with one loss coming to Neyland. I don’t think that’s going to happen though. I think they lose this weekend (because the backup QB for Texas is playing) and possibly lose to Auburn at home.

Texas will lose to Georgia and probably A&M.

Missouri loses to A&M and maybe Oklahoma.

Oklahoma loses to us, Bama, and possibly LSU.

If the season keeps getting crazier it’s possible a three loss team gets in. We have everything to play for.

So, last thoughts this morning - Brazzell had 29rec 333yds 2tds last year. Assuming he's ready to play and stays out of trouble, I think 50 rec 600yds, 5tds is more than reasonable output with decent QB play.

Circling back to this: Brazzell is smoking these numbers lol

I would guess at this point, both are doubtful. Tomorrow’s report should shed some light. Carter seems more doubtful than Hood. Hood is trying to get out there. Just hope he doesn’t have any setbacks. Even if not, he might be better of sitting.
