It is going to be a tough test for our OL against OU's D line. Ole Miss and UT have two of the better offenses in the country though. I like our chances of being able to score in the Mid 30s since Ole Miss was able to go into Norman and do what they did offensively. Let the chess match begin!

Yes stats can be very misleading. But last week was the very first time all year Oklahoma faced a competent offense. I’m not saying they aren’t a good defense I just don’t think they are a unit that we can’t handle.

Have you seen their schedule? OM is by far the best offense they have played. I don't think anyone else on their schedule is even in the top half of the nation offensively.

I'm sure they have a solid defense, but they certainly are not the 6th best defense in the country. OM just put up 34 on them on the road, which is the same amount they scored on UGA a week prior. We have a better offense than OM. I feel pretty comfortable about our ability to score points on them, especially at home.

Leaving out teams FCS opponent.
OU offenses faced rankings: 52, 66, 105, 132, 78, 125 and 10th
Bama offenses faced: 2, 133, 37, 33, 14, 3, and 125
GA offenses faced: 67, 3, 53, 91, 105, and 10

This is why rankings are subjective.

I think Alabama has a better pass defense and may be the best in the country. Alabama's run defense is worse than ours, though. In Bama's five SEC games and the Florida State game, Joey Aguilar and Lanorris Sellers are the only QBs to throw for 200+ yards. Joey is the only one to top 250.

Similar to our defense last year. Had a bunch of great stats accumulated against bad offenses and got torched the few times we played explosive teams.

I have an Alabama fan friend who posted on Facebook after their game this weekend that they are the worst tackling team in the country.
