Trump '28

How exactly can you tell when he’s trolling and when he’s not trolling? Are we supposed to guess whether or not he’s being serious about something?

If Trump is trolling, he’s an immature punk bitch.

The trolling helps sane people identify the insane, if you are unable to tell the difference then that would be the tell. 🤷‍♂️

Camps are going to be difficult for some.

The ignorant are the ones who believe the trolling, again he trolls you ****s like fat kids to candy.

Ignore where he talks about not running and picking his predecessor..... man ya'll some ignorant mofo's.
Of course he’s trolling. It stokes the fires of his leg humpers. But one would think he has a few more important things to do than to spend his days and nights trolling the opposition like a teenage girl. Very mature and fitting for the office of the President don’t you think? No, it is embarrassing and beneath the office. Of course, YOUR President never had minded acting a fool. Why stop now.

Really? You really need help with this? No wonder Unca Joe and the Ho roped you in.
Oh, I definitely need help. Give me some more examples of when he’s trolling and not trolling and tell me how we can tell the difference.

It’s as if the MAGA cultist have their own secret decoder rings.

Or… golly… you’re just lying.

🤣

I agree, he should get back to deporting illegals faster.

Hopefully he has more to work towards.

Yeah I'm lying....keep believing that.

See, that's where you are wrong. He makes a couple of outrageous statements in about 10 mins and you guys spend your entire day on it.

I'd gladly be a dumb as he is to have his net worth.

Nahhhh… I’d rather have intellect. Or at a minimum just a scant c-hair of morality. Money doesn’t make a man.

Notable Examples of Donald Trump’s Most Absurd Statements

Donald Trump has made countless off-the-cuff remarks over the years that have drawn widespread criticism for their factual inaccuracies, logical leaps, or sheer oddity. These often highlight a disregard for basic knowledge in history, science, or current events. Below, I’ve compiled a selection of particularly egregious examples, drawn from verified reports and public records. Each includes the quote, context, and why it stands out as a blunder. These are not exhaustive, but they represent some of the most frequently cited and ridiculed.

  1. Airports in the Revolutionary War
During a 2019 rally in Pennsylvania, Trump said: “We’re going to beat the hell out of ISIS. We’re bringing in the best people… and we’re taking over the airports from the Revolutionary War.”
Why it’s dumb: Airports didn’t exist in 1775—commercial aviation started in the 20th century. This gaffe mixed up historical battles (like the War of 1812) with modern warfare, suggesting a fundamental ignorance of U.S. history. 4 45
  2. Injecting Disinfectant for COVID-19
At a 2020 White House briefing on the pandemic, Trump mused: “I see the disinfectant, where it knocks it out in a minute. One minute. And is there a way we can do something like that, by injection inside or almost a cleaning?”
Why it’s dumb: This appeared to suggest injecting bleach or similar cleaners into the body to treat the virus, ignoring basic biology and leading to poison control hotlines being overwhelmed with calls. Medical experts universally condemned it as dangerous misinformation. 41 6
  3. Windmills Cause Cancer
In a 2019 speech, Trump claimed: “If you have a windmill anywhere near your house… they say the noise causes cancer.”
Why it’s dumb: No scientific evidence links wind turbine noise to cancer; it’s a baseless conspiracy theory. Trump has repeatedly bashed renewable energy with pseudoscience, despite wind power’s role in reducing emissions. 9 43
  4. Nuking Hurricanes
According to multiple reports from 2019, Trump asked advisers: “Why can’t we just drop a nuclear bomb in the middle of [a hurricane]?”
Why it’s dumb: Exploding nukes in storms would spread radiation over populated areas, contaminate oceans, and likely worsen the disaster. It’s a cartoonish idea from someone with access to the nuclear codes, revealing zero grasp of meteorology or fallout risks. 41 51
  5. Frederick Douglass Is Doing ‘an Amazing Job’
In a 2017 Black History Month speech, Trump said: “Frederick Douglass is an example of somebody who’s done an amazing job and is being recognized more and more, I notice.”
Why it’s dumb: Douglass, the abolitionist, died in 1895. Trump’s phrasing implied he was alive and active, showing a shocking lack of awareness about one of America’s most famous historical figures. 38 41
  6. Egg Prices Down 30% (When They Were Up)
In a 2024 press conference, Trump boasted: “Little things such as the cost of eggs… Down almost 30 per cent, in the last, eh, few days.”
Why it’s dumb: U.S. egg prices had actually surged due to avian flu outbreaks, not dropped. This was a blatant, easily fact-checkable lie, undermining his economic claims. 0 53
  7. Raking Forests to Prevent Wildfires
In 2018, responding to California wildfires, Trump tweeted: “There is no reason for these massive, deadly and costly forest fires in California except that forest management is so poor.” He later suggested: “Maybe we have to raking, raking… gotta take care of the floors.”
Why it’s dumb: “Raking” forests like a yard isn’t how fire management works; it ignores professional techniques like controlled burns and fuel breaks. Forestry experts called it simplistic and uninformed. 43 18
  8. Hannibal Lecter as a Migrant Example
At a 2024 rally, Trump rambled: “Has anybody seen Silence of the Lambs? The late, great Hannibal Lecter… He’s a wonderful man. He oftentimes would have a friend for dinner… And these migrants, they’re vicious.”
Why it’s dumb: He bizarrely invoked a fictional cannibal to describe immigrants, conflating horror movies with policy. It was incoherent and highlighted his stream-of-consciousness style over substance. 41 6
  9. Covfefe Tweet
In 2017, Trump tweeted: “Despite the constant negative press covfefe” and never deleted or explained it for hours.
Why it’s dumb: It was a apparent typo (possibly for “coverage”), but his refusal to clarify turned it into a global meme. It exemplified his impulsive social media use without basic proofreading. 0 22
  10. ID Needed for Groceries
In 2024 debates, Trump claimed: “We also have a thing with ID… You need ID to buy groceries.”
Why it’s dumb: No U.S. state requires ID for grocery purchases—it’s a non-issue. This bizarre non-sequitur exposed confusion on everyday life and voting laws. 47 41

These quotes span Trump’s campaigns and presidency, often going viral for their absurdity. Supporters sometimes dismiss them as “unfiltered” or humorous, but critics argue they reveal deeper issues with preparation, fact-checking, and judgment—especially for someone seeking (or holding) the world’s most powerful office. For more, resources like fact-checkers (e.g., Politifact) or compilations from outlets like Indy100 track hundreds more.

I'd gladly be a dumb as he is to have his net worth.

The only saving grace for his net worth is that his rank idiocy wasn't enough to blow through the ~$400 million his douchebag father left him.

Not that he didn't give it a valiant effort.

The hilarious thing about it is ALL OF THE LIBS slurp it up like it's the honest truth.
Incredible to play it up as awesome and hilarious and then like a post calling it immature, one post later lol
With exception of a few in DC, and wrt to trolling or reactions to being trolled, it just comes across as if there's an overabundance of kids in DC that never really got out of freaking high school.
