No, you said we didn't have the luxury of having 5th 6 year seniors and we do. Two 6 year seniors and no, the majority aren't young. We were ridiculously old last year yes, but we actually have 12 guys on scholarship in their 3rd year or better.

Only Okoye and Schell haven't played major snaps. We were crazy old last year, but it was more about Pearce and ONL being better than anyone we have, Simmons and Thomas being NFL players with a lot of those other guys listed up there.

Man we have to get this W Saturday. We essentially get three weeks off then to finish the season with UF and Candy. We can use three weeks to get healthy and focus on fundamentals. Just survive this weekend with a win and we can make the playoffs.

I keep thinking the same way. Schedule is set perfect to make it to the playoffs. We just have to find a way to get the win this Saturday. Maybe McCoy would finally be healthy with 3 more weeks, get Hood back healthy, get Arion healthy, then unleash on Florida and Vandy. Neyland has to be the difference maker Saturday night! Need to rattle Mateer and those true FR tackles, causing numerous procedural penalties and long yardage situation. That will set up for our edges to be able to rush the QB and hopefully get some holding calls. #5 scares me for them, as we don’t have anyone to lock him down if Hood is out. We have to play zone probably. I hope they work all week on how to play a zone defense better. I think zone might be the best bet to stop OU and Mateer. Make him make the throws with that thumb in windows, and PLEASE let Perlotte or Spillman spy him the whole game! He looks to run A LOT! Cannot let him beat us with his legs!

That’s my biggest problem with banks. His unit is the worst and has been for years. And they brought in major analysts to help him and it’s gotten worse. That’s a bad sign imo.

Let's not overreact. It's gotten worse, this year. I'm the meltiest of melters. Think most damning thing, if what you say about analysts is true, is how they continue to not get better week to week. Also, lack of depth in Y5 is very concerning. I think Banks doesn't think he has to recruit hard. Proof is in pudding, Starting a walk on last year. Ended up working out ok. But, 3/5 years he's trotted out some pretty below average defenses, this year being the worst of the worst.
