Cheating Brian Kelly out of his buyout is wrong. He deserves whatever was agreed to.

Right? They didn't cheat Ed O out of what they owed him did they? Pay the man what you were dumb enough to promise him. Heck, I think I have a good argument that the Governor, who pulled the trigger on firing him should have to pay Kelly's buyout himself. But I'll be fair. I don't even think we should take it out of his salary. He can pay it out of some of those bribes and kickbacks the office generates.

I think the more pertinent question is to name the coaches that would leave there current situation that warrant spending that kind of money? It's a very small list. Everybody has money now. For the record, I don't think we lose Heupel but I think you have to expect his agent to be fielding calls. Heupel might shut it down without any of us knowing about it but that's not typically how agents work these things.

I think it’s like the lottery. Do u want $800,000 per month or are you willing to take less than the full buyout for a payment right now.

The $800,000 would be mitigated if he found another job. The flat sum agreed upon would stay.
