You got the numbers? I’ll guarantee there are teams allocating less funds for NIL and Recruiting that have a Defense that’s not currently rated in the hundreds

Exactly. They are the most entitled fan base in the country, and the thing that's so hilarious to me is that they aren't capable of getting the sorts of results they were getting before everyone could pay players and suddenly they aren't just competing with two programs with seemingly deeper pockets poaching the in-state talent, but other programs with deep pockets gobbling up Florida talent.

And here's another dirty secret about Florida talent, it's usually mostly skill players. Who are cheap and readily available in the portal and in recruiting. You'd be surprised how little relatively some of those skill guys get. Not because they aren't valuable, because the replacement value in a guy like Chris Brazzell, is better than spending more upfront, just to get a guy that will make fans happy but not contribute nearly as much to wins and losses as the hogmallies across the LOS.

It doesn't sound right to me, because they went to Billy last year and tried to pressure him to hire someone to take over the offense and he told them basically to buy him out. That got sort of misreported in the media because the UAA is interested in narrative. They even tried to plant a story to suggest he tired to hire Ole Miss' OC last year which sort of just made Billy look worse and Lane look better. They've been buttering up fans to expect Kiffin. It's ridiculously dumb to do because now the fans are going to be mad whoever they end up with if it isn't Lane Kiffin. I surf their boards to keep up. They cannot agree on any name that isn't Kiffin.

Just going to add this here: looked it up and these are the details. 10.5 within 30 days. remainder over length of deal. Zero mitigation unlike Franklin where whatever salary he might receive through a new job will be supplemented up to the 8 million/yr Penn State owes him.

It's a dumb contract to give a coach as unproven as Billy was and it just illustrates how that job is now viewed.

should help the offenses since they know when to cut and the defense has to react, which will cause them to slip more. Don’t think it will really affect our defense based on what we have done this year.

although I think it will be about which team sucks it up and embraces the elements. If you come out whining before the game starts it will carry over into the game.
