UT -3.5 with O/U 56.5. Predicting a 30-27ish type game.

I don’t have a lot of hope we can keep them under 30. We’re gonna have to score close to 40 IMO. If you think UT wins this, take the over

Vols will once again struggle on Offense. Not very impressed with Joey Aguilar, isnt very mobile, and doesnt see field well. Arm isnt very accurate, and tries to make too much happen at times. Also, receivers dont catch enough catches, and running backs are carrying enough. Defense is superlative.

-Greg Mcelroy, prolly

Despite the putrid offense. This one will be close.

Vols - 60
We owe y'all an asswhuppin' - 30
Was feeling triggered at first

This one will be stressful for long stretches, but Neyland at night helps us maintain control - minimizing our errors, while maximizing the Sooner’s mistakes.

As has been typical for our defense, they will make an unhealthy Mateer look like his pre-surgery self, but force him into some costly mistakes as well.

Our offense does its thing - mostly great with stretches of frustration.

Tennessee - 38
Oklahoma - 24

I dunno. If Banks has any brains at all he will keep pressure on Mateer the entire game. I know that is a big "IF". Which means they will probably be third and Banks all night, which is a guarantee they score 40+.

With brains -
Vols 34
Okies 26

Per usual -
Vols 45
Okies 42

Do we replace banks with venables when OU fires him end of season?
Who do we replace Heupel with when he goes to OU after they fire Venables?

Noticed he was rushing 4 often Sat. Think we only blitzed 3-4 times.

Hoping he held back to be more aggressive versus Oklahoma. Make so much more sense to be aggressive versus OK.

Well done! You had me going right up to the “Defense is superlative” part

OU rush defense is their claim to fame. I think they blitz fairly often.

Let’s control the LOS and run with success.

Eat time off the clock and give time for Joey to throw for big chunk plays.

Go Vols!

Vols win. Take the under. A lot to a little.

To me this game boils for to a few things..

Yes we will make a pretty pedestrian OU offense look better than they are. I accept that.

But.

We get sacks and tfls... And turnovers.

And yes OU's defense will stop is at times.

But at the end of the day... We win.. Timely stop(s)... A few big plays... Win three turnover battle... That's the recipe. Not new, but that's it.

34-27 TN🍊. And yes this game will take time off the end your life, like the rest of them this year.
