Jermod McCoy Possible Return Rumors.

From what I've gathered he was suppose to come back vs Arkansas but had swelling issues (not confirmed but multiple people have said this)
From what I've gathered now they are planning for him to come back for the Florida game, this also gives him wiggle room to play 4 games and redshirt if needed.
For those asking why he would need a redshirt, he might not, but if he heals slower and his draft stock falls it might be a better choice to come back and also have two seasons. Injuries are weird sometimes and having two extra seasons is better than one and the best option for him.
(I can't confirm any of this with 100% certainty, but it makes sense)

Some on here keep repeating rumors he is going to play every week since Arky. The 2 people who posted that were just clarifying that little bit of brilliant knowledge to stop the rumors. Maybe you can enlighten us with your expert knowledge instead of starting another rumor.

Nah, you’re good. I posted that due to a prior conversation Arkansas week. Someone posted he would be back that week and i commented i was told early Oct he must go thru full contact.

As of the week of ARK he had not practiced with the team. This is coming from a reliable source at all the practices.

If he starts actively practicing then I will get excited, at this time I am not counting on seeing him this year. That begs the question if he goes straight to the draft too.

I agree, however I don’t think he will be drafted high if he doesn’t play this year. If he plays and does as well as last year I think 1st round pick. May fall big time if he doesn’t play this year imo

Yep. Said this earlier. Even if we win, I don't expect to see him in orange again. To be out this long is problematic. Conditioning, speed of the game, lack of live reps, rust, etc. All present a risk to his draft status. His best bet is to recover completely then dazzle teams with his combine performance. He's not returning. Folks just need to accept and move on.
